Phoenix: Ladies and Gentleman… Welcome to the Insaaaaaaaaaaaane Asylum! I’m Blazing Phoenix and this is the New Breed, SOL.
Sol: Sup yall
Phoenix: So what a Homecoming we had last night. And for those of you that missed the show we have a Brand New World Heavyweight Champion and that man is Sheer.
Sol: Not to mention the draft all though I have to admit I wish you were drafted to Pyro so I can get a partner that matters.
Phoenix: Oh stop but what about Morpheus making his comeback?
Sol: Well as huge of new as that is, the New Breed has it on good account that the Nightmare King is not in the building tonight. But tell them about tonight’s card BP.
Phoenix: Well in our opening contest we have two brand new rookies battling out to establish their presence on Insanity.
Sol: hopefully someone will impress the New Breed but what else?
Phoenix: Then the Team of the Anarchists will take on Big B. Brown Wicked-
Sol: Now since Grimace lost all of that baby fat, he was impressive last night at Homecoming … let’s see how the brotha works with the insanity’s newest psychopath.
Phoenix: Then your favorite wrestler, Nigel Vanderbilt, takes on Andy Savana after a brutal Money Shot.
Sol: Favorite currant wrestler… the New Breed will always be the New Breed’s favorite. But cash Flo- I mean Nigel Vanderbilt will defiantly show that nut ball a thing or two.
Phoenix: And that leaves us to our co-main event. In the first one the team of the Wise Men and Jason Gravis will take on Anti-Venom where the winning team becomes the number one contenders to the undisputed tag team titles as well as the odd man gets a shot at the losing teams single champion.
Sol: Now with Jason Gravis saying he has joined Anti-Venom it draws up an interesting scenario if the Wise Men win.
Phoenix: Which leaves us to the second half of our Main event. Insanity’s top two draft picks will battle it out as Jude Maxwell makes his Insanity debut against former World Champion and currant Martinez Cup winner, cYnical.
Sol: Well Repo and our Mystery GM are probably keeping a close look on this one, but now it looks like it is time to start the show.
“Hunt you down” by Saliva blast the speaker as the lights in the arena go completely out before a red strobe light flashes throughout the arena. Azreal leaps out onto the stage as an explosion of pyrotechnics go off and Azreal sprints to center stage before dropping down to his knees. He waits a few seconds before jumping up and he walks down the ring full of confidence.
Mike Announcer: Ladies and gentleman, the following contest is for one fall. Making his way down to the ring from Parts Unknown… THIS…IS… AZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZREAL!!!
Phoenix: Now this young man is making his LPW debut.
Sol: Like the new breed said, let’s hope that one of these young bucks is impressive.
As Azreal’s music begins to fade, “in elegance” by Architects hits as Zenith, Krossbones Kafu and the rest of Kafu’s posse make there way down to the ring. Kafu looks to be holding a old bottle of rum as Max and James try to keep him in control as they escort Zenith down the ramp.
Mike Announcer: and his opponent, making his way down to the ring being accompanied by Krossbones Kafu , from Melbourne, Australia this is ZEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENITH!!!
Sol: Great it looks like we get a drunk pirate down at ring side…
Phoenix: Zenith seem s to be talking strategy with Max and James and Azreal doesn’t want to wait! He shoulder tackles Zenith into the corner and knocks his… um manager’s right? Sure Managers off of the ring apron. Azreal spins Zenith around and whips him into the ropes and catches him in the gut with a hard kick. Azreal bounces off the ropes himself and REDEMPTION… what a bicycle kick. Areal flips him over to cover. This can’t be over already…
one…
Two…
Three!
Sol: Holy crap, Areal is no joke.
Mike Announcer: Here is your winner… AZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZREAL!!!
Azreal 3.77 APS + 2.30 AVS= 6.07
Zenith 0.00 APS + 0.20 AVS= 0.20
“Hunt you down” by Saliva blast again through the speaker as Azreal holds up his hands in victory. Krossbones Kafu slides under the bottom rope as Azreal leaves them in the ring. Kafu helps Zenith to his feet and tries to cheer his partner up while Zenith gives him the the hell look. Zenith walks out of the ring as Kafu and posse follow behind.
Phoenix: Azreal was truly impressive but I have to admit if Zenith wasn’t distracted I know he would have done a lot better, don’t beat yourself up too much kid there is always tomorrow.
Phoenix:That’s right cause our next match up in this new era of Insanity is a familiar for the fans, as the Wisemen, down a member since the defection of Villano 187, will be teaming with the egomaniac, Jason Gravis against Anti Venom members Phantom Lord, Steve Monroe, and newly crowned LPW Hardcore Champion Son of Shockey.
SoL: The Wisemen have had an up and down couple of weeks. X had a draw than lost to Ken Ryans, but those matches have been given critical acclaim. And then there was the loss of the, surprise surprise, traitorous Villano 187 to Anti Venom. On the Flip side, Ash Strife defeated Western States Heritage Champion Ultramarcus at Altered Reality, than survived a gauntlet to keep his United States Title.
Phoenix: It's the Canadian Heavyweight Championship, SoL.
SoL: The New Breed does not recognize that back water third world country.
Phoenix: As for Anti Venom, they are riding a wave of good fortune over the last few shows. The coup against the Wisemen with Villano 187 and Shockey winning the Hardcore Championship give them momentum in this. Jason Gravis is the Wild Card in this match. Where does he stand? And will he even help his team?
SoL: He better if he wants to get a shot at the Hardcore Championship, as per the Stipulations of the match. If the Wisemen win, Gravis gets Shockey. If Anti Venom wins, Monroe or Phantom get Ash in a United States Championship match. And don't attempt to correct the New Breed again, Phoenix.
“This Devil's Workday” by Modest Mouse blares on the PA as Anti Venom comes down the aisle. Son of Shockey is standing front and center, showing off his newly won LPW Hardcore Title, as the champ is flanked by Phantom Lord and Steve Monroe. The crowd gives Anti Venom hell as they make it to the ring and taunt the crowd. They quit taunting the crowd and focus their attention to the ramp as “Smasher/devourer” by Fear Factory blares and the Wisemen walk calmly to the ring, a mixed reaction given to the veteran duo. Anti Venom gets out of the ring as The Wisemen enter. “Carry On My Wayward Son” by Kansas blares on the PA suddenly as Jason Gravis enters the arena to the applause of the crowd. He runs into the ring and looks cautiously at his partners.
Mike Announcer: Introducing first in this Six man tag team match, they weigh in at a combined weight of 930 lbs. Introducing the team of LPW Canadian Heavyweight Champion Ash Strife and X, the WISEMEN. And there partner, JASON GRAVIS! Their opponents, representing ANTI VENOM. There combined weight is 905 lbs. SON OF SHOCKEY, STEVE MONROE, and PHANTOM LORD!
Phoenix: Son of Shockey is wasting no time and goes right after X with a cheap shot to the back. Shockey with a number of rights to the face of X. Irish whip by Shockey, reversed by X. Pokes Shockey in the eye. Kick to the stomach by X. A nice swinging Neckbreaker by X on Shockey, who backs away quickly to regain his bearings.
SoL: Shockey has to be wary of X and Ash. They will do anything and everything to win. And they have been doing that for years.
Phoenix: X picks up Shockey and Irish whips him to the ropes. Shockey with a shoulder block that takes X down. He pumps his fist in the air at his accomplishment, than runs toward the ropes again.
SoL: I applaud Shockey for his bravado as a new champ, but the New Breed frowns on excessive celebration early in the game.
Phoenix: X gets up and leap frogs over Shockey. Shockey comes back around and gets hit with a Kitchen Sink knee strike to the gut. Shockey is smarting over getting out witted by X.
SoL: Many a great man has been outwitted by the former 2TX. He is a cold blooded assassin. And if Shockey doesn't take that seriously, he will just be another dead body left in the wake of the man called X.
Phoenix: Shockey is getting back up, holding his stomach from the knee strike. Collar and elbow tie up by both men. Shockey with the arm wringer. He has the hold on tight and is gloating over having X in this hold. X reverses and locks in an arm wringer of his own. Knee to the midsection of Shockey. He measures Shockey up for a kick to the temple.
As X measures up, Jason Gravis tags in. X gets in his face, pissed that he got in his way, but CAK keeps him level headed. Gravis nails Shockey with a boot to the head that sends him sprawling to the mat. Gravis picks up Shockey and hits him with two right hands. He runs to the ropes, only to get kicked in the back by Phantom Lord. Gravis is in pain as Shockey nails Gravis with a running Palm Strike.
Phoenix: Red Hand Case by Shockey. And he tags in Phantom Lord, who calls in Monroe. Phantom with an Irish whip to Gravis. Spin kick to the gut of Gravis, shades of Larry Zybysko. Monroe follows that up immediately with Das Boot right in the temple of the hunched over Jason Gravis.
SoL: Gravis thought too singularly at that moment and right now the total team work of Anti Venom is showing. Phantom knows how to get things done in a team setting. He was one half of the feared All-American Wrecking Crew back in the PWA days. He gives Anti Venom the Veteran guidance it needs. And his vicious streak is second to none.
Phoenix: Phantom starts to unload with a number of vicious right hands to Jason Gravis. Phantom has Gravis by the arm. Short arm Burning Lariat attempt...Ducked under by Gravis. Gravis with a Backdrop Driver to Phantom.
Phantom Lord pops right back up from the impact, dazed. Jason Gravis capitalizes and nails a big lariat of his own on Phantom Lord. Son of Shockey climbs into the ring to go after Gravis, but Gravis sees this and nails Shockey with release belly to belly suplex. Gravis retreats to his corner and tags in CAK, who looks unamused at the random tag. Phantom Lord gets up and slowly tags in Steve Monroe.
SoL: Battle of the Behemoths, Phoenix! This ring is going to break. I know it.
Phoenix: We now have the two giants of LPW in the ring. Steve Monroe, 6'11, 405 lbs squaring off against the Canadian Heavyweight Champion, CAK. 7'4, 340 lbs. Monroe wastes no time and unloads with a number of right hands. CAK blocks the next one and unloads with a succession of rights of his own. Monroe kicks CAK in the stomach and runs to the ropes. He goes for a shoulder block...CAK is still standing!
SoL: It looked close, but CAK held his ground. Monroe with another kick to the stomach and runs to the ropes again. Shoulder Block by Monroe...CAK holds his ground again. Monroe looks pissed. And see Phoenix, I can do your job better than you. They should let the New Breed go Joey Styles around here.
Phoenix: Monroe with another boot to the gut. Runs to the ropes...BIG powerslam by CAK. Monroe holds his back from the impact.
SoL: VERY few men can lift Monroe off his feet. CAK showed he is one of them.
Phoenix: CAK picks up Monroe. A number of rights to the face of Monroe. Irish whip by the champ. Big boot attempt...Monroe ducks out of the way. Monroe comes back to CAK. And CAK with a strong running STO on Monroe. CAK tags X in.
X goes to the second corner turnbuckle as CAK grabs Monroe in a pendulum backbreaker. He hits the backbreaker on Monroe. X follows up with a second rope knee drop on the face of Monroe. Shockey runs in to clothsline the Wisemen, who duck under his attack. They grab the running Shockey and plant him with a double spinebuster. X measures the grounded Monroe and dropkicks him in the face, sending him rolling to his corner. He motions to Phantom Lord to tag in.
Phoenix: After a clinic in tag team wrestling by the Wisemen, X is calling on Phantom Lord to join him in the ring.
SoL: Two guys from my time throwing down in that ring. Phantom tags in and goes right after X. No love lost between these two.
Phoenix: Both men exchange right hands. No one is really getting the upper hand in this. X is starting to turn the tide. X goes for a big haymaker. He misses. Phantom Lord with that Spin kick to the gut again and X is hunched over. Phantom is trying for the Katahajime. X is fighting out of it. Phantom shifts his hands and delivers a big Half Nelson Suplex. Phantom picks up X and drags him to the ropes. He tags in Shockey and motions Monroe into the ring.
Monroe lifts X into a powerbomb as Shockey goes to the top rope. Monroe and Phantom hit a tandem backcracker/powerbomb, and leave X prostrated on Phantom's knees, Monroe keeping X still. Shockey comes off the top rope with a double foot stomp on the exposed X. Shockey starts to pose in the middle of the ring as the crowd lets him have it.
Phoenix: Devastating triple team move by Anti Venom. X looks in a world of hurt.
SoL: Shockey better do something now. He should no better than to give X a moment to recover. X can be at his most dangerous when he is wounded.
Phoenix: Shockey with a number of fists to the face of X. He calls in Phantom again. Irish whip by both men. Duck under by both men. X counters with a double DDT. Shockey and Phantom are down. Monroe is coming in. X turns to get to CAK. Monroe tries for the Inside Out. X ducks out of the way. Gravis tags himself in again. X doesn't look pleased.
As X is still wondering what happened, Monroe comes back and nails the Inside Out on X, knocking out and to the outside. Gravis capitalizes on Monroe admiring his handy work by giving him a big Enziguri to the back of the head, sending Monroe to the outside. Shockey gets back up and gets planted with a running Yakuza kick by Gravis. Gravis throws Phantom to the outside. He starts to jaw with Monroe, who is furious at getting kicked in the head, but is Rolled up by Shockey.
SoL: Rollup by Shockey!
One…
Two…
Phoenix: Kickout by Gravis. He wasn't concentrating, which is odd for Gravis. Gravis gives Shockey a number of rights to the face. Gravis runs to the ropes...Shockey throws him to the opposite ropes...and nails him with a rolling elbow.
SoL: Shades of Chris Hero, your personal hero and mine.
Phoenix: Shockey grabs Gravis and has him up in a fireman's carry. Shockey is taking his sweet time, walking Gravis around the ring. Gravis breaks out. CAK tags in, Gravis unaware of it. Gravis with a running DDT on Shockey. He goes for the cover, but the ref informs him that he is not the legal man. Shockey gets up woozy, only to be planted with a running big boot by CAK.
SoL: Here comes Phantom.
Phantom Lord comes into the ring and tries to attack CAK. CAK blocks the punch and grabs him in the Iron Claw. He has Phantom screaming in pain over the hold. This distraction allows Shockey to tag in Monroe. Monroe nails CAK with an elbow to the back of the head, forcing CAK to release the hold. Monroe grabs CAK and plants him with The Light, sending a massive thud around the arena. Monroe falls from the exhaustion of lifting CAK.
Phoenix: Amazing! Monroe just nailed CAK with a big time Gutwrench Powerbomb. He just Powerbombed a 340 lb man.
SoL: But the toll from the Powerbomb has Monroe out of it. Monroe is slowly getting up, pleased with his handy work.
Phoenix: Monroe is now up and lifts CAK up again. He locks CAK up and starts to hit the Three Peaks.
SoL: Impressive strength to be able to hit continious snap suplexes on CAK.
Phoenix: Monroe going for the third one, but CAK blocks it. He shoves Monroe off. Both men attempt clothslines and knock each other down.
SoL: That was a big crash right there. I think I felt the building shake.
Phoenix: Both men are slow to get up and are reaching for their respective partners. Monroe for Phantom, CAK for X.
Both men tag their respective partners. X runs out, but Phantom stops him cold with a rake to the eyes. Uranage slam by Phantom on X. Phantom tags in Shockey. Phantom lifts him up on his shoulders. They look like they are about to hit the Doomsday Device on X. As Shockey is climbing the turnbuckle, X breaks free and shoves Phantom into the corner, causing Shockey to crotch himself on the top turnbuckle. As Phantom turns around, X pokes him in the eyes. X than lifts Phantom up and nails him with a Michinoku Driver. Phantom slowly rolls out of the ring. X than nails Monroe with a enziguri, sending him to the floor.
Phoenix: X is free and he is in his zone. Shockey is now on the mat, still holding himself after being crouched on the turnbuckle.
SoL: Anti Venom took too long and now X has Shockey right where he wants him. Shockey tries to attack.
Phoenix: X with a kick to the stomach. He grabs Shockey's throat. X-Tinction by X. This is over. Cover. 1...2...what the...Gravis just broke up the pin with a kick to the head.
SoL: What is he doing? And to of all people X? Does Gravis have a death wish?
Phoenix: Gravis is mouthing off to X.
SoL: Maybe he should look behind him. Gravis seemed to forget about Mr. Ash Strife.
Gravis turns around and gets a big boot to the face. CAK picks up Gravis and motions for X to come over. X and CAK hit Jason Gravis with a big double chokeslam. X than drags Gravis to the corner and tags Gravis in. CAK makes sure that Shockey is down by nailing the dazed Shockey with the Bull Charge. X drops the lifeless body of Gravis onto Shockey and block the rest of Anti Venom from entering the ring.
Phoenix: Cover by the lifeless Gravis.
One…
Two…
Three!
Phoenix: This one is over. The Wisemen Triumph!
Mike Announcer: The winner of the match are Jason Gravis and THE WISEMEN!
Wise Men (X & Ash Strife) & Jason Gravis 4.10 APS+3.83 APS+3.73 APS+ 1.90 AVS=13.57
Anti-Venom (Monroe, Son of Shockey & Phantom Lord) 3.67 APS+0.00 APS+3.40 APS=0.60 AVS=7.67
Ash and X raise their hands in Victory. As Monroe comes from behind them with a chair and cracks X in the Back.
Phoenix: Huge chair shot to X and Ash turns and gets one to the head.
Sol: Well Ash is no longer the heaviest man on Insanity so he wasn’t expecting that shot to take him off of his feet.
Phantom Lord comes in with a chair as well and he proceeds to attack Ash while Monroe focuses on X. The two members of Anti-Venom proceed to slam the members of the Wise men with chairs as Shockey and Gravis get to their feet. Shockey immediately starts to bring the boots to X as Gravis looks on before starting to stomp Ash. After a few moments, Monroe starts to give instructions and Phantom and Shockey take X out of the ring and pull handcuffs from under the ring out and handcuff X to the outside of the ring. Shockey and Phantom return to the ring and the four members of Anti-Venom circle Ash.
Phoenix: Ash looks down and in a rough patch.
Sol: If there was ever a moment to go into CAK mode, this would be it.
Phoenix: Phantom pulls Ash up and Ash pushes him off, Ash swings on Shockey but Monroe hits him with a lowblow! Ash stumbles forward and Gravis is behind him…Non Timebo Mala! Ash just got planted down hard. Phantom pulls up Ash and Shockey grabs him for a ESPN Phantom with the assist on the legs.
Sol: Ash just took two vicious finishers and damn it looks like AV isn’t done here.
Phoenix: Phantom just stepped over Ash and he locked in a Katahajime Choke! Ash is already down and out and now AV is just adding Insult to injury. Wait Monroe has a microphone now.
Monroe: Wise Asses, you may have won this battle but the war will belong to AV!
Monroe looks down at Ash with a sick smile.
Monroe: Brother Phantom, please break the hold… ladies and gentleman prepare your selves for a real treat for I, MONROE, am cashing in my guaranteed title shot… RIGHT NOW! Brother Phantom you can be the ref.
Phantom calls for the for the bell Monroe steps over Ash and pulls him to his feet. The entire time X is trying to break free of the chains
Phoenix: This isn’t right, I may not be a fan of Ash or support him but he can not defend himself here at all. Ash just collapsed at Monroe’s feet and Monroe picks up Ash again and he grabs him by the throat… No Monroe this isn’t right at all.
Sol: Choke slam, Damn Monroe sure knows how to capitalize.
Phoenix: Monroe covers.
One…
Two…
Three!
Mike Announcer looks around in shock and doesn’t announce the call as the bell is called, so Hockey grabs a microphone.
Shockey: Here is your Winner and NEW LPW United States Champion… MONROE!
Phantom grabs the belt from the desk and hands the Canadian Heavyweight title to Monroe, who holds the title up proudly.
Phoenix: This can’t be happening.
Sol: But it just did BP.
As AV celebrates in the ring, Son of Rep Oman steps out of stage and shakes his head.
SOR: So you look pretty happy Monroe and I hate to be the bearer of Bad news but I am the Repoman and you know the Rep Oman always collects.
Monroe: What are you talking about Repo?
SOR: While it is true you had a guaranteed title shot whenever you wanted, you forgot to look at one key rule in that contract.
Monroe: And that is?
SOR: The champion must be able to defend himself for it to be an official match. Ash Strife was in no way able to defend himself during the entire match so as Acting General Manager and Good Will Advisor I hereby reverse the decision and forever strike it from the record books!
Phoenix: There you go Repo, lay down that law.
SOR: But that isn’t the only reason we are here you see I know technically Jason Gravis is the new number one contender for the LPW Hardcore championship but since he wants to be in Anti-Venom, and I know Ash will want to get his hands on any member of AV, I have decided to change the match at LPW Honor Roll to Ash Strife vs. Jason Gravis for the LPW Canadian Heavyweight Championship!
Shockey: What do you think Gravis is scared of Ash? He defeated Krimson Mask!
SOR: Oh Mr. Witt. Thank you for that history, and I know you are relieved you are not facing Gravis but due to your involvement in the issues Don’t think for second you are off of the hook.
Shockey: Well who is my first victim?
SOR: Mr. Witt the correct term would be victims… as in more than one so at LPW Honor Roll you get the privilege of facing two men that greatly impressed me tonight… BIG B. BROWN and NIGEL VANDERBILT!
Phoenix: Whoa huge match!
SOR: now gentlemen please get out of my ring before I have my friend do it for you.
As Repo speaks an entire squad of security guards come from backstage and to escort AV form the ring as Ring hands cut X loose. Ash sits up as X is being cut loose and he looks livid. Ash grabs his belt; X grabs his chair and the Wise men walk back stage like men on a mission.
Phoenix: Well it these are two men I wouldn’t want to be on the bad side off… AV better hope they don’t find them. But let us cut to back stage to hear from our new World Champion.
The scene cuts to back stage where the camera finds a bloodied Sheepster laid out on the ground. Next to him is the World Heavyweight Title.
Phoenix: Well that wasn’t what we expected but the show must go on. So the time has come for the second half of our huge double main event tonight as cYnical looks to rebound from his loss of the LPW World Heavyweight Championship as he takes on Jude Maxwell.
SoL: Jude Maxwell is looking to make the next big step and if he can beat Cynical tonight, it could be Maxwell getting the next shot at the World Title.
Phoenix: One thing we have to wonder about is where Morpheus is. We know he is in the building. But we do not know where. Sheepster is the new World Champion and Morpheus has made it very clear he wants the gold. If he does show up tonight it would be to send a message to Sheepster.
SoL: Morpheus is a man who knows how to play the game of human chess. He knows where to line up the pieces and he knows how to go for checkmate in the least amount of moves. Sheepster might be the champion now, but you better damn well know Morpheus has a plan to get that belt from him.
Phoenix: It’s an intriguing set of circumstances surrounding this main event so without any further delay lets head up to Mike Announcer for the official ring introductions.
The camera switches to the center of the ring where Mike Announcer is standing for the introductions
Mike Announcer: Wrestling fans the following contest scheduled for one fall is the second half of your double main event of the evening.
"Revolution 9" by The Beatles comes on the PA system and Jude Maxwell comes out to a huge ovation
Mike Announcer: Introducing first, he hails from Tucson, Arizona and he weighs in at 240 Pounds…he is The Nowhere Man, This is JUUUUUUUUUUUUUDDDDDEEE MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAXXXXXXWWWEEEEEELLLLLLL.
Phoenix: A tremendous ovation for Jude Maxwell from the fans here tonight in Norfolk. Norfolk is a great old wrestling town and they know they are in for a treat with this match.
SoL: Indeed they are. Both you and I wrestled here many times, and there is something special about being in The Scope. Tonight Jude Maxwell can make a huge career statement and as we know all you need is that one moment to do it.
Phoenix: He’s a former World Television and Western States Champion. He is the number one pick of the 2010 Draft. Insanity sees a huge future in Jude Maxwell as a top competitor in this company. And Jude is in the ring and he looks to be in great shape…
Suddenly the lights in the arena go out and "Epic" by Faith No More comes on and huge blast of pyro goes off as the lights come back on and Cynical comes out to a huge ovation
Mike Announcer: Coming down the isle, he hails from The Dark Side of Your Subconscious and he weighs in at 190 Pounds…He is the former LPW World Heavyweight Champion, This is CYYYYYYYYNNNNNNNNIIIIIICCCCCAAAALLLLLLLL
Phoenix: A huge ovation for Cynical as he enters the ring and you can feel the electricity in the air right now.
SoL: There is a huge buzz in this building right now, that is for sure. This crowd is pumped for this match.
Phoenix: Jude and Cyn are now eye to eye in the middle of the ring as the referee is giving final instructions and he has called for the bell and this one is under way. Both men circle and they lock up and Jude Maxwell pushes Cynical down to the mat with a show of power.
SoL: Jude has about fifty pounds on cYn even though both men are just about the same height. That weight difference will come into play tonight as this match goes on.
Phoenix: Cynical is back up and the lock up again and Cynical quickly goes behind and he has him up and puts him down with a good old fashion go behind take down. Cynical can play the power game just as well as anyone as Jude is back up and the tie up again and Maxwell locks in a side headlock. cYn tries to shove him off but Jude has it locked on tight. cYnical nails him in the side with an elbow and another and another and the hold is broke. cYn goes into the ropes but Jude knocks him down with a shoulder block. cYn is back up and he goes into the ropes again and Jude goes for a clothesline but it’s ducked and Cynical comes flying back and he takes Jude down with one of his own. Jude is back up and cYn catches him with a beautiful arm drag and he holds him into an arm bar.
SoL: A great use of leverage and strength by cYnical. cYn has some of the smoothest moves in all wrestling and that was one of them right there.
Phoenix: Indeed he does as cYnical continues to apply the pressure as Jude is trying to get back up to his feet. Jude does and with his free hand he nails cYnical with open hand chop and another and another and cYnical breaks the hold. Jude nails him with a European uppercut and cYnical is dazed as Jude quickly grabs him and picks him up and connects with a BIG body slam. Jude goes for an elbow drop but he misses and cYnical grabs the arm and goes right back to work on it.
SoL: cYnical looks like he’s come up with a plan to wear Jude down and that’s to work on his arm and take away a lot of his offense.
Phoenix: cYn has it worked into elbow lock and Jude is trying to figure out a way to get out of this as he makes his way back to his knees. Jude nails him with a backhand to the stomach and another and another and breaks the hold. Jude quickly sends cYnical off into the ropes and he catches him with a big back body drop. cYn is back up and Jude levels him with a European uppercut. He goes for a cover
One…
two…
Phoenix: kick out by cYn. Maxwell quickly is back up and he grabs Cynical and connects with a big swinging neck breaker and cYn is down and clutching the back of his head.
SoL: Great move by Jude Maxwell as he really jerked cYn’s head and then planted him with that neck breaker. Take out the head and the rest of the body will follow.
Phoenix: A strategy you followed in your career. Jude has cYnical sitting back up and he drives a knee into his back and now he’s got a chin lock on as he keeps that knee in the back as he pulls back on cYn’s head. The referee is right there asking cYn if he wants to give up but he’s saying now.
SoL: Some people might think that chin lock is a boring move, but grab someone from behind and pull back on their head. You’ll see how effective it is.
Phoenix: Fans please do not try that. You can just take our word on it.
SoL: You really are no fun.
Phoenix: Jude continues to pull back on the head and cYn might be fading as the referee checks his arms and it drops once. He has it up again and it drops twice. Once more and this is over.
The referee picks up his arm for the third time and cYn holds it up just as it’s about to fall. cYn starts to raise his arms as the crowd rallies behind him and he begins to stands up and he nails Jude with an elbow and another and another to break the hold
Phoenix: cYnical is back up and he nails Jude with a huge open hand chop and an palm thrust and Jude is dazed. He quickly goes into the ropes and he catches him with a big leaping leg lariat. He quickly picks Jude back up and he goes behind and he has him up and he connects with The Cynaburst. He goes for the cover.
One…
two…
Phoenix: kick out by Jude Maxwell. cYnical is looking to go for the kill and soon because he knows how much of a threat Jude Maxwell is. cYnical picks him back up and he whips him into the corner. cYn quickly follows in with a clothesline and he hoists him up to the top turnbuckle. cYn tries to climb up but Jude hits him with a boot right to the face and he quickly grabs him by the head and stands him up on the second turnbuckle with him…DAY TRIPPER CONNECTS.
SoL: What a vicious move as he just drove Cynical right into the mat, but can he capitalize with the pin?
Phoenix: He does
One…
two…
Phoenix: KICKOUT by cYnical. Jude took just a second too long to go for the pin after that great move. Jude is now back up and he brings cYnical up to his feet and he nails him with a left jab and another and another and another and he follows it up with a big clothesline. cYnical is down and out and Jude is looking to finish him off now as he picks him up and he’s got him up for a Gory Bomb and he goes into the ropes but cYn gets his feet up and he blocks it. Jude was going for Revolution and cYnical blocked it. cYn spins him around and he connects with a DDT. cYn quickly grabs him and he drags him to the corner.
SoL: cYnical looks to be going for the homerun right now as he climbs up to the top rope.
Phoenix: cYnical is up on the top rope and he’s going for cYntrifical Force AND JUDE GOT THE KNEES UP. Jude quickly grabs him and he nails him with a DDT of his own. Jude is saying this is it as he picks him up and he has him on his back. He’s going for Helter Skelter…but cYn breaks free and rolls down his back and rolls him up
One…
two…
Phoenix:kick out by Jude. cYn has him back up and he’s going for The Negative Outlook…he has him up but Jude Maxwell breaks free and he spins him around and he hooks him up…GLASS ONION CONNECTS. Cover and count
One…
two…

Phoenix: KICK OUT BY CYNICAL.
SoL: That was like two and seven eighth’s right there.
Phoenix: The former World Champion is not going down without a fight and the number one draft pick is wondering what else does he have in his playbook that he can use. Jude goes to pick Cyn up…CYN WITH AN INSIDE CRADLE
One…
two…
Phoenix: KICKOUT by Jude Maxwell. Jude is back up and cYn grabs his arms and he spins him around into a backslide
One…
two…
Phoenix: kick out again by Jude Maxwell.
SoL: cYnical is starting to get frustrated as Jude Maxwell will just not stay down.
Phoenix: cYnical very well could have made the mistake of looking past Jude Maxwell to Sheepster, but you know Morpheus is also on the back of his mind as he picks Jude back up and he’s setting up for The Negative Outlook again…but Jude with a double leg and he flips over for a pin
One…
two…
Phoenix: kick out by cYn and they are in a bridge. cYn showing an incredible show of strength as he bridges up and he’s going for The Negative Outlook again and he has him up AND HE CONNECTS. But cYn might have used the last bit of strength he had as he slowly goes for the cover
One…
two…
Phoenix: FOOT IS ON THE ROPES.
SoL: cYn looks like he’s in a state of shock. He had Maxwell beat. We should really do away with rope breaks.
Phoenix: Rope breaks have been around since the dawn of wrestling.
SoL: My point exactly. Modernize and change with the times.
Phoenix: While SoL is off in a dream land, Cynical is going back outside and he’s climbing up to the top rope. He’s waiting for Jude to stand back up.
Jude starts to get to his feet and he turns around and Cynical leaps off the top with a cross body
Phoenix: Cynical with a cross body…BUT JUDE ROLLS THROUGH….COVER
One…
two…
Three!
Mike Announcer: The winner of the match via pinfall is JUUUUUUDDDDDDDEEEEE MAAAAAAAAAXXXXXXXXXWWWWWWEEEELLLLLLLLLLL!!!
Jude Maxwell 3.89 APS + 1.10 AVS= 4.99
cYnical 3.69 APS + 1.40 AVS -0.20 LP=4.89
Phoenix: What an amazing match and a monumental win for Jude Maxwell as he has just pinned the former World Heavyweight Champion.
SoL:This is why Insanity drafted this man number one. He has huge star potential and we just saw why.
As Jude and Cynical stare at each other in the ring about to shake hands in a sign of mutual respect, suddenly the lights in the arena go out
SoL: Did someone forget to pay the bills again?
The lights come back on and Morpheus is standing in the ring and he drills Cynical right in the back with a steel chair. Jude tries to stop him but Morph nails him in the stomach and then nails him across the back with the chair for his troubles
Phoenix: IT’S MORPHEUS AND HE IS BEATING THE HOLY HELL OUT OF CYNICAL. Jude tried to stop him but he got a chair for his troubles. Morpheus is beating cYn with that chair like he owes him money.
As Morph is attacking Cynical, Sheepster comes running out with the World Title in hand.
Phoenix: IT’S THE NEW WORLD CHAMPION SHEEPSTER, AND HE’S IN THE RING AND HE NAILS MORPHEUS WITH THE CHAMPIONSHIP BELT. SHEEPSTER IS GOING TO TOWN ON MORPHEUS.
Jude Maxwell is back up and he helps Cynical up to his feet and they along with Sheepster have Morpheus cornered
Phoenix: Oh he is going to get it. The Master of the Dream Realm is about to get a good old fashion whopping…
Suddenly the lights go out again and when they come back on Morpheus is gone
SoL: Where the hell did he go? He was right in front of us a moment ago.
Phoenix: I don’t know, but I suspect this is not the first time nor the last time Morpheus will be trying to make a statement, but right now in the ring Jude Maxwell and Cynical are shaking hands as Sheepster stands guard in the ring. Cynical raises Jude’s hand in a sign of respect and that is what wrestling all about.
SoL: It was a hell of a match, but Morpheus just put everyone on notice that he can do what ever he wants and no one can stop him.
Phoenix: Sheepster had a counter for that claim. He’s the world champion and if you want him come get him. Well fans for SoL, I am Blazing Phoenix…so long from Norfolk.
The shot fades as Jude celebrates his win by shaking hands with cYn and Sheepster looking on.
