Vertigo SPOILERS.

Guys, I just got back from the Pyromania 18.1 show, and man, there were some explosive matches. They did the tapings for the Pyromania Vertigo matches before they did the show, so these are spoilers for this week’s Vertigo 2.1 show.


Match started with the Xiemlez coming out, followed by Gregory, then Mayamaya. As soon as Mayamaya hit the ring, he just started tearing shreds off Gregory and Xiemlez. A huge number of big clothelines and powerslams. It took a low blow from Gregory to arrest back the momentum.

Gregory and Xiemlex then turned the tables, and started double teaming Mayamaya. Ximelex ended up knocking Mayamaya out of the ring with a big time Big Boot. Gregory took advantage, and hit his finisher. I think he calls it the Poetry Slam. He then went to lock a big time submission. Guy next to me said it was the “Lethal Lock”. Xiemlez was able to find the rope before the move got lynched in too badly.

Gregory tried to get back into the action, but Mayamaya returned, and hit a Reverse Cradle Piledriver, I think he calls it the Crowbar, on him. Mayamaya went for the pin, but Xiemlez broke it up to keep it alive. He hit the same move again, it must be his finisher, on Xiemlex. It was with this move he got the three count for the win.

This Masked Wrestler guy is really weird. He came out in a full body Russian Flag wrestling suit, masked up, with only a huge beard showing.  He was taunting the crowd, and spewing a lot of things in Russian on the mic. Nobody could understand him. Then The Mighty Dyno Might came up on the big screen and went off. He wasn’t talking in Russian, but I still don’t know what he was saying.

Dyno Might then appeared in the flesh above the big screen and absailed down to the ring. On the way in, he sunk his boots in to Masked Wrestler to start the match. He almost sent Masked Wrestler out of the ring.  Dyno Might then went on the attack. He started going on the attack, with quick, fast moves. The guy was all over the ring. Masked Wrestler tried to counter, and slow it down, but Dyno Might was just too quick for him.

Dyno Might did get caught eventually, as Masked Wrestler countered into a clothesline. He then slowed the match right down. He laid big time power moves one after another. Suplex, Body Slams, Spinebusters. The whole works, but everytime he pinned, Dyno Might kicked out. The dude wouldn’t stay down.

Dyno Might was able to counter a powerbomb into a roll up. That was all he needed to get back on the attack, as he then hit a massive enziguri to put his bigger opponent down. The lined him up as he was rising, shouted out “EXPLOSIVECIDE”, then hit a superkick to put Masked Wrestler down for the win.

That was it for the Pyromania side of the Vertigo show. They started moving into the main show from here.


Hi everyone. I got back from the Insanity taping tonight, and they had a huge match before the main show.


Before the match started, Eric Scorpio, the newly unveiled General Manager of Insanity, came out and said that the Scorpio Rules match had a special twist to it, in that he wouldn’t reveal the stipulations until it was over. He also told everyone that there would be no disqualifications in this match.

Bobino came out first, but was stopped on the ramp by Seth Omega with a steel pipe. Omega went to town on Bobino, really showing the brutality and fury he has. The new number  one contender to the World Heavyweight Championship then hit the Heart Shaped Box onto the steel steps at ringside.

He wasted no time  in rolling Bobino into the ring. He picks up a steel chair and gets into the ring himself, sets up the chair, picked up Bobino, and hit a second Heart Shaped Box. With a quick pin, Seth scored the easy win.

Seth got up and started to leave, as Eric Scorpio came out again. He then said that the loser of the match was to be fired. That was his “Scorpio Rules” stipulation. Bobino was still out like a light, so he didn’t hear the news, but Scorpio laughed at Bobino. I can’t help but think that Bobino might not have been fired if he’d showed up mentally tonight.

That was it from Insanity for Vertigo. From here they got into the main show, and the Master of the Asylum tournament. Man, there were some great matches in that.
