The scene opens up to LPW Insanity in the famous Madison Square Garden where instead of the expected music, cheers and roar from the crowd the arena is silent as the arena is flickering with lighters and the glow from cell phones as the darkened Jumbo Tron comes to life. A tribute video showing Randy Savage’s legendary career is shown before the lights cut on in the arena as the camera cuts to both Blazing Phoenix and SoL.  Phoenix is wiping a tear from his eyes as SoL just sits there with a blank expression on his face when finally Phoenix speaks out.

Phoenix: Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to INSANITY: GOLD!.  I am Blazing Phoenix and sitting next to me is the New Breed SoL.

SoL: Madison Square Garden the New Breed is in the building.

Phoenix: Tonight we have six matches.  Four title matches, a Battle Royal and the return of the Rabbi! So without further ado let’s cut to Mike Announcer!

Mike Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen the following contest is a battle royal and is round two of the Master of the Asylum Tournament!


Mike Announcer: The only way to be eliminated is to be thrown over the top rope. The last eight men will advance to round three and the overall winner shall receive a bye to round four. Now introducing the man that drew number one…


“Epic" by Faith No More plays as the G()D of LPW makes his way down the ramp. He enters the ring as the stage explodes into flames before disrobing.

Phoenix: Now this isn’t right, later tonight cYnical faces the World Heavyweight Champion Morpheus for the title and now he truly has to go through 15 other men.

SoL: Meh…

Phoenix: Meh? I know you and cYn had your differences but this is wrong.  I for one am pulling for cYn to put a stop in Scorpio’s plans.

Mike Announcer: Now introducing the man that drew number two.


"What People are Made Of" by Modest Mouse plays as Jeff Whitt steps through the curtain and runs down to slide under the bottom rope. As he gets to his feet the ref calls for the bell.

Phoenix: And we are off Jeff Charges cYn and gets dropped with a spinning heel kick. cYn Stomps on Whitt before picking up Whitt and dumping him over the top rope.

Mike Announcer:Jeff Whitt has been eliminated.

cYnical now paces back and forth in the ring with a not so happy look on his face.

Phoenix: and a fast elimination of Whitt there. cYn does not look too pleased as we wait for the next man to come out. With still a minute on the clock if cYnical can keep up this pace he will have plenty of energy to face the champ later.

cYnical waits center ring as a giant counter appears on the Jumbo Tron and the fans start to count down the last ten numbers.


“Turns to Ashes" by 36 Crazyfists blast as leader of Australis and Pyromaniac Superstar bolts from the back and into the ring.

Phoenix: Business has just picked up here. Right now we have the Main Event from ARV in the ring as both men stare each other down. Its strength vs. speed here as cYnical charges at Styxx. cYn ducks a clothesline attempt bounces off the ropes but big Styxx catches cYnical with a devastating powerslam! Styxx goes to pick up Styxx and gets a snap kick to the face as cYnical gets up. Styxx would love eliminate cYnical here for revenge for the Martinez Cu-

SoL: No Styxx will want to bring the punishment for if he eliminates cYnical this early, he has the remainder of the show to rest before facing Morph where as if as much punishment is afflicted as possible than he is putting a huge handicap on his dreams for winning a third World Heavyweight Title.

Phoenix: Nice to see you doing your job.

SoL: Don’t get used to it, I just had to point out what you failed to notice old man.

Phoenix: Both men are to their feet, Styxx drills cYnical with a hard clothesline. cYnical up and back down as Styxx press him into a corner. Styxx charges him and cYnical side steps for Styxx to get a chest full of turnbuckle.

As cYnical jumps on top of Styxx to unload with a series of fast punches the timer jumps on the Jumbo Tron as the crowd counts down with the timer.


"2nd Sucks" by A Day to Remember plays as Cripsy bolts down to the ring and tackles cYnical off of Styxx.

Phoenix: This is not a good spot for cYincal to be in as both Styxx and Cripsy are taking the boots to cYnical. They pick up the G()D and hit a double suplex. Styxx has cYnical up and kits a backbreaker and Cripsy jumps to the top rope. He leaps off with a leg drop on to the staged cYnical! cYn has to be done here.

SoL: Well Cripsy must have a lot of pent up frustration for Watson overcoming him recently on Pyromania.

Phoenix: Cripsy is up and he drills cYnical down with a DDT as he goes to try to eliminate cYn but Styxx stops him.

SoL: He will regret as I see that coming back to bite him.

Phoenix: Cripsy hits a neck breaker on cYn and he picks him right back up. Styxx is waiting and Cripsy whips him towards cYn but cYn reverses it and Cripsy collides with Styxx! This is buying cYnical the much needed time he needs. cYnical is up and as Cripsy gets up from his crash course cYn unloads a series of punches and kicks and Cripsy drops to his knees, cYnical bounces himself off the ropes and a huge shining Wizard knocks Cripsey into next week! cYn turns right into a knee by Styxx. Styxx goes for the Ganzo Bomb here but cYnical reverses by sliding up and over into a reverse DDT! cYnical turns as Cripsy tackles him to the mat and starts to unload some serious punches.

As cYnical is being assaulted by Cripsy the timer starts its count down again.


"Hunt You Down" by Saliva Plays as Azreal bolts down the ramp and climbs over the rope.

Phoenix: Here is another Large man and Azreal boots Cripsy to the side of the head allowing cYnical to get a breather. Styxx is back up and Azreal power whips him into a corner and charges with a splash and Styxx side steps it. Cripsy is up and he charges Azreal how grabs him by the head and tosses Cripsy over, wait Cripsy is handing on the ledge. He pulls himself up and gets a massive elbow to the face but Cripsy pulls himself through.

SoL: Is it over yet? I’m tired of this boring match.

Phoenix: Excuse my partner here but Azreal and Styxx are locked up like two very large bulls and cYnical from the side with the assist as he drives a boot to the ribs of Styxx. Azreal using the moment to slam Styxx down and cYn drops Azreal with a spin kick and begins to work on Styxx on the mat.

cYnical gets on top of Styxx and starts to bring down some solid punches as Azreal and Cripsy get up. They lock up and Azreal power tosses Cripsy across the ring as Styxx throws cYnical off of him.


In The Air Tonight" by Nonpoint plays as Jeff Watson runs down the ramp and into the ring.

Phoenix: Here is Jeff Watson. Jeff coming off a big win from Crispy and is hoping to continue that momentum to become the first ever LPW Pure Champion. Cripsy guns right after Watson and takes him down with a tackle as he rains down those fast fist. Watson kicks him off and they get up. Fast neck breaker by Watson as he picks up Cripsy again he tries to toss Cripsy over but the man hangs on for dear life. Meanwhile across the ring Styxx has cYn in the corner and is trying to get some satisfaction from AR5 again.

SoL: Nahh baby you know Im free tonight.

Phoenix: what? Who are you talking to?

SoL: You mamma now let the new breed finish his phone call.

Phoenix: Ok than… Azreal tired of waiting around charges Watson and Cripsy. Watson ducks and the big man send Cripsy over the top rope!

Mike Announcer: Cripsy has been eliminated.

Phoenix: Azreal is trying to force Watson over now and a low blow by the law man drops the giant. We are down to four men with two eliminations, cYn and Styxx have been beating the hell out of each other and we still have 10 men to go before this match is over.

SoL: Oh yay (sarcasm)

Phoenix: The timer is close who is going to be next?


“Flight On Broken WIngs" by Eyes Set To Kill blast through the speakers but instead of running down the ramp Daniel Pleasant comes stumbling out. Soon followed by Cripsy who is wielding a steel chair. Cripsy smacks it hard into the back of Pleasant before sliding him under the rope.

Phoenix: Looks like Cripsy will not let the POV/ Australis feud die down at all. Watson is going to try and take advantage of Peasant’s condition and he picks him up but Pleasant fight him off. Pleasant whips Watson towards the rope and tries to hip toss him over on the ropes but again Watson hangs on for dear life. Pleasant is trying to use all of his weight to force Watson over and wait here come Azreal from behind!

Azreal scoops up Pleasant’s legs from under him and toss him over but the combined weight pulls Watson off the ropes and to the ground as well.

Mike Announcer: Daniel Pleasant and Jeff Watson have been eliminated!

Phoenix: Looking back at the replay Pleasant did hit the ground first but hopefully Watson doesn’t let this get in the way of him winning the LPW Pure Championship next week.

SoL: Who cares what is happening on Pyro, stop hyping the other show you Benedict Arnold.

Phoenix: Seven men have entered the match so far and we are down to three in the ring and here comes the timer again.


“Killing in the Name" by Rage Against the Machine plays as Drew Michaels bolts down the ramp to a chorus of boos.

Phoenix: And Drew not getting a very warm reception here tonight as I don’t blame him for what he did to the beloved Tromboner Man.

SoL: Not to mention he is the GM of Pyromania. He is just a bad person hell look at the crowd see that sign “How do you spell Satan: D-R-E-W-M-I-C-H-A-E-L-S” I’m Sorry but that made the New Breeds Night.

Phoenix: Michaels explodes into Azreal with a furry of lefts and rights before dropping him with a planting neck breaker. Michaels turns and slams an elbow into cYnical. Michaels seems to only want to punish the Insanity Wrestlers here and with Styxx still in the ring this became a two on two brand war.

Michaels is stomping at Azreal’s knee before he locks the 6’10 big man in a knee lock.[/b]

Phoenix: Smart man taking out the big man’s legs so he can’t fight back. Michaels breaks the hold to drag Azreal to the corner and Michaels limbs to the second rope while still holding Azreal’s leg and leaps off! That had to hurt and Michaels reapplies that hold. Meanwhile cYnical reverses a slam attempt by Styxx into a spinning DDT and cYnical charges and dives at Michaels taking the Pyromania general manager off of his feet. cYnical takes Michaels and tosses him over but Drew catches himself. Using the ropes he leaps over and drop kicks the G()D of LPW to the mat. Azreal is up and he yanks Michaels off of cYn and holds him in a full nelson and yells for cYnical to attach Michaels.  cYn moves in but Styxx yanks him off and takes him down with a short arm clothesline. And here comes the count down!


Crerar: NEW YORK CITY! Are you ready to see these men suck ball?

The crowd gives Ozzy Crerar a mixed reaction as he steps through the curtains and down the ramp to ring side. With a microphone not even waiting for his music to play.

Crerar: So we have captain purple pants, I’m angry cause my kangaroo left me, The Rookie Super Chump and Daddy Fire Crotch in the ring. Well Madison Square Garden, each and everyone one these men shall have the taste of my balls in their mouth for days to come, but as much as these men suck balls no man could ever compare them to the epic suck master known as Nigel Vanderb-

Ozzy never finishes his statement as Azreal slides under the bottom rope and punches him in the mouth.  Azreal slides Ozzy under the rope and follows suit. cYnical, Styxx and Drew Michaels just look at the rookie with a look of amusement as Ozzy Crerar backs up right into the chest of Azreal.

Phoenix: looks like Ozzy just painted an unnecessary target over his back as Azreal shoves Crerar forward and he ducks a clothesline attempt from Styxx but gets caught with a dropkick by cYnical and all four men begin to stomp Ozzy who rolls out of the ring and underneath it. Azreal follows suit and gets blasted in the face with a cloud of smoke. Ozzy has a fire extinguisher and he cold cocks the big man to the ground. Azreal looks dizzy and No come on…

SoL: Oh come on that is a death warrant on the streets… you do not tea bag another man.

Phoenix: Oh I forgot you were so hood New Breed but yes Ozzy is tea bagging Azreal over and over while screaming suck my balls. And finally Ozzy slides back into the ring right into a slam by Styxx.  Wait Nigel Vanderbilt just jumped over the barricade. He has Ozzy up and leaps over the top rope with him. Nigel Vanderbilt just screwed Ozzy Crerar out of the MOTA Battle Royal.

SoL: That is the least of his worries cause Here comes Azreal…

Mike Announcer: Ozzy Crerar has been eliminated.

Nigel takes off laughing as Ozzy chases him and Azreal chases Ozzy. Nigel and Ozzy disappear behind the curtains but Azreal turns and heads back to the ring as the timer starts its count. As Azreal turns Dick Dynamo runs down the ramp without waiting for his music and he hits a low blow on Azreal before sliding under the ropes and goes right after Styxx.

Phoenix: The young Dick Dynamo here is hungry  and seems to want to continue the POV Australis war as well.  Azreal is back in the ring and that is one angry looking big man. Azreal charges at Dick who Styxx has just thrown in a corner and sandwiches the smaller man. Dick stumbles out and a double suplex by Styxx and Azreal to Dick while cYnical and Michaels fight across the ring.  Azreal steps forward but Dick rolls between his legs and drops kicks him forward but Azreal stays on his feet. Azreal turns and a flying lariat by Dynamo knocks Azreal into the ropes. Dick is going for one more but Azreal side steps and toss Dynamo right over the ropes.

Mike Announcer: Dick Dynamo has been eliminated!

Azreal holds up his arms in celebration only for Styxx to come from behind him and drop him over the ropes too.

Mike Announcer: Azreal has been eliminated!

Phoenix: Seven men have been eliminated which means the next man to go over the top rope will be the last man not to move on to round three and there are still six men in the back. I repeat one more elimination until the order will form the brackets to my understanding.  But back in the ring Michaels and Styxx and beating cYnical down in a corner. Things are not looking good for cYnical here so I hope for his sake he has a ace up his sleeve for an ally in the back that can help him out with the next number and here comes the countdown.


“Dr. Feelgood” by Motley Crue plays as LPW Hardcore Champion bolts down the ramp  and into the ring. He grabs both Michaels and Styxx and slams their heads into each other before pulling cYnical to his feet and nodes his head out of respect. Brown turns and in an impressive display of power presses Styxx into the air before dropping him onto his shoulders and smacking him to the mat with a huge Samoan drop.

Phoenix: Domination has arrived. A fresh Big B. Brown is here and he turns his focus on Michaels while cYn takes the moment to catch a breather. Brown has Michaels up and sends him crashing down with a huge brain buster and he sits up and posses for the crowd to a huge pop. The Fans love them some Big B. Brown that is clear. Brown turns his attention back towards Styxx and a huge side walk slam has the big Australian down

SoL: Not smart for Ol’ boy here to let cYn rest… and that is why.

cYnical charges with a super kick type maneuver to Big B, who ducks down and catches cYn up in the air in a vertical Power Bomb position to the cheer of the crowd and plans cYnical with a Big B. Bomb in the middle of the ring.

Phoenix: That was impressive I have to admit  and Brown has cleared the ring as everyone is down and Brown soaks in the cheers. Come on Brown throw one man over board and secure your place in round three. The timer begins to count down as Brown holds up his fingers in the air to count down with it. The Man showing no fear at all about his place.


“Let Us Slay” by GWAR blast as Ash Strife makes his way down the ramp and he gets right in Big B’s face. The two men start to smack talk a little before Strife shoves Brown back who responds with a clothesline which knocks Strife back.

Phoenix: This is not good at all. These two massive men are battling like two large bulls. Brown is starting to get the momentum but Strife ducks down and plants Brown with a belly to belly overhead suplex. cYnical on the other side of the ring as Drew Michaels barley hanging on and Ash collides with cYnical and actually yanks Michaels back into the ring. What is up with that? Strife takes the moment and plants cYnical with a huge spine buster and turns and there is Styxx. Both of these very large men are looking eye to eye and node their heads in agreement. Strife and Styxx are attacking the rising Brown. I think I see what is happening here. Styxx wants cYn to stay in to Suffer and Strife wants the same for Michaels. This dangerous alliance between these two men will not fan out well for the rest of the match but to Brown’s defense is he barely holding his own here.

Brown lucks out and drops both men by catching them off guard with a double clothesline but to his dismay both men slowly get to their feet. Brown notices both Michaels and cYn are down from the abuse they have taken earlier in the match so he bounces off the ropes to build momentum just to get dropped with a double big boot from Strife and Styxx.

Phoenix: This is not good and here comes the timer, hopefully some good news will occur for Brown here.


"Kick Some Ass" by Stroke 9 plays as Ultramarcus steps through the curtains with a fire Drew Michaels Shirt one. He slides under the ropes and climbs right on top of Michaels and starts to pound on him while Strife and Styxx bring the pain to Brown.

Phoenix: Marcus picks up Michaels and plants him with a piledriver before assaulting him some more. Finally Marcus gets up and holds out his hands as if it was the sign of peace as he approaches Strife and Styxx. Marcus points to the three of them and to the downed Michaels and Styxx before holding out his hands. Strife shakes his hand and what’s this he isn’t letting go as Styxx grabs his other arm and Strife and Styxx toss Marcus over the top rope!

Mike Announcer: Ultramarcus has been eliminated!

Phoenix: Well Marcus was a bit too trusting there and it looks like these 5 men as well as 3 in the back are all going to make it to round 3 but which lucky man will walk out the winner and receive the bye? Strife picks up Brown and whips him to the ropes and Styxx tosses the big man over on the rebound.

Mike Announcer: Big B. Brown has been eliminated!

Phoenix: Brown is gone which Leaves Strife and Styxx to assault Michaels and cYnical respectfully here and there is a one in 3 chance that the next man is Mass Chaos who can hopefully save the “good guys” here.

SoL: You shouldn’t bet here man.

The timer counts down as the crowd cheers and counts with it.


"El Corazon del Guerrero" by Tierra Santa plays as Mass Chaos sprints down the ramp and kicks both Styxx and Strife off of their respective victims. Both men get up and Strife moves towards Chaos only Styxx stops him and pull shim close to plan.

Phoenix: and False alarm by Styxx as he power whips Strife over the ropes! He wasn’t expecting or able to brace for that fall and it looks like Ash has banged up his knee off of the edge of the ring side. This doesn’t look good for Ash.

Mike Announcer: Ash Strife has been eliminated!

Ash looks up at Styxx with a look of pure hatred and Styxx shrugs his shoulders so using his good leg Ash leaps up and grabs Styxx by the arm and pulls him right over the top rope.

Mike Announcer: Styxx has been eliminated!

Phoenix: I can only say that was karma and security runs down the ramp to separate these two massive men and these two indirectly saved Chaos a possible beating with their self implosion. Chaos than turns and helps Michaels to his feet; The two misfits are staring face to face before they hug and turn towards cYnical. They approach him as the timer counts down.


"Deathsmarch" by Cancer Bats plays as Steve Storme runs down the ramp. Michaels runs at him blindly with his hate for all things Insanity but the much fresher Steve Storme drops him with a superkick.

Phoenix: This means the man in the back in Andy savanna so one of these five men will be the winner-

SoL: You think that up all by yourself?

Phoenix: Back to the action. Chaos and Storme circle each other and lock up. Chaos puts Storme into a headlock which gets reversed into a hip toss by Storme. Storme slaps on a leg scissor on Chaos’s arm. cYnical and Michaels both get up but both men look rough here. Michaels stomps on Storme here causing the hold to break. Chaos is up and with a double team Chaos and Michaels force Storme over.

Mike Announcer: Steve Storme has been eliminated!

Phoenix: we are down to four men now as Michaels holds out his hand to his Misfit brother in arms and Chaos accepts it. No Michaels used it as a ploy to dump Chaos over the top rope.

Mike Announcer: Mass Chaos as been eliminated!

SoL: Michaels has his head screwed on straight I see putting Winning before “family”.

Chaos looks shocked at first but then laughs to himself for being too trusting in a free for all.

Phoenix: Michaels and cYn are the only two in the ring and here comes Andy Savana, not even wanting to wait for his announcement. He picks up cYnical and plants him with a DDT. Savana then turns and tackles the winded Pyro general manager to the mat. Savana looks like a man possessed here as he throws Michaels over the top rope and turns to focus on cYnical.

SoL: For the record Michaels caught himself but Savana is too eager to move on that he over looked following up on the elimination.

Phoenix: Savana turns and grabs cYn by the legs and drags him to center ring. cYnical has been locked in Savana’s chamber of pain and there is no tapping out here. Savana is cranking on the pressure and Michaels knocks Savana right off of cYnical. With a last ditch of energy Michaels dumps Savana over the top rope.

Mike Announcer: Andy Savana has been eliminated!

Phoenix: Final two men, both former Martinez Cup winners  so this should be good.

SoL: Meh The New Breed is sick and tired of this match so it’s time to take action into my own hands to spare everyone this monstrosity.

Phoenix: What are you talking about?

SoL gets up from the table and takes off the head set and removes his shirt before sliding under the ropes.  Both cYnical and Michaels have a confused look on their faces. SoL drops Michaels with a stiff clothesline and turns to a rising cYnical. SoL bounces off of the ropes.

Phoenix: I don’t know what is going on but The New Breed has just planted cYnical with a massive Jungle Kick. SoL picks up both Michaels and cYnical and hits a double Final Solution. SoL grabs both men again and throws them over the top rope. This one is over but who won?

The referee talks with the ref standing on that side of the ring before approaching Mike Announcer.

Mike Announcer: According to the referee’s unanimous decision cYnical’s feet hit the ground first so your winner and moving on to round four of the Master of the Asylum Tournament is DREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW MICHAELS!!!

(Scores will be posted at the end of the overall card)

Phoenix: SoL has just won the match indirectly for Drew Michaels and now he has a microphone in the ring.

SoL: I’m done…

The crowd is silent here to see what SoL is speaking of.

SoL: I’ve been in that announce booth since I stepped away from active competition, and each and every week I’ve had to put on the smile and spit out the company lines…well it was only a matter of time before the New Br…before I cut the bullshit and decided to speak my mind!

The crowd pops at the Hall of famer here for being real with them.

SoL: I once heard that pouring syrup on a pile of manure doesn’t make it smell like pancakes, it still smells like SHIT! And that’s what the LPW has been trying to get me to do every week, use my words to cover up the stench that is coming from this ring!

This time the fans start to boo as SoL insults the product they have grown to love.

SoL: But I love myself, and respect myself too much to continue to put my name behind this sorry excuse of a product. I tried…I gave Insanity a chance to win me over. Tonight I sat through a match that featured what was supposed to be 16 of the top competitors that this company has to offer. Well, I’m sad to say, watching something called “Dick Dynamo” did not leave me impressed.

Seeing where he is going with this the crowd starts a please don’t go chant.

SoL: So New York City, LPW, Insanity, I regret to inform you that the entertainment portion of your programming has now officially come to an end…because I QUIT!

SoL drops mic and walks out.

Phoenix: Unbelievable SoL just quit. Lets us cut to the back as we get this situation situated .

We see a shot inside the legendary backstage corridor of Madison Square Garden and we see Phantom Lord looking at a photo hanging on the wall of Randy Savage after a huge win inside the Garden

Phantom: I can remember that night. I can remember a lot of nights where The Macho Man climbed up to the top rope and dropped the big elbow for the win. It's hard to believe that the Madness is now gone. I happened to hear the news on the radio and I had to do a double take. Macho is gone? Randy inspired just about every person in this LPW locker room. We all aspired to have our own Savage/Steamboat match. Hell anytime I'm in Memphis I'll try and piledrive someone through a table just as my personal tribute to him.

What can be said about Randy Savage that hasn't been said all ready? He is the one person I aspire to be because when he had his final match that was it. He didn't over stay his welcome. He walked off into the sunset. Last year when he got remarried to his first love from thirty five years ago; So hearing the news about him and his wife...who thankfully is okay was horrible. I can only imagine what it will be like in the great arena in the sky when Pomp & Circumstance comes on and The Macho Man makes that grand entrance as only he can.

Albert Einstein once said that we are made of energy and energy can never die. Well the Macho Man was filled with the energy of a hundred people. I don't say goodbye, I just say I'll see you again and I know I will.

Phoenix: Welcome back to LPW Insanity, For those of you just joining us SoL has just quit. He got fed up with the Battle Royal and won it indirectly for Drew Michaels. So as you see I am all alone out here.

“Desire" by Ozzy Osbourne plays as LPW hall of Famer comes out from the curtains and starts walking to the ring.

Phoenix: Well This is  Phantom’s home town but he isn’t scheduled to compete as he stated he was going to retire and Phantom Lord is sitting next to me.

Phantom: Why of course the good people of New York need this job done right, by someone that will call it as he sees it and quite frankly Phoenix I won’t let you spoil this show by attempting to call it by yourself so consider me your new partner in crime.

Phoenix: Fair enough


“You’re going to go far kid” by the Offspring goes off as Atlas Adams makes his way down to the ring.

Announcer: The following is scheduled for one fall and is for the LPW Television title.


Mike Announcer” Introducing first, the champion, from Boston, Massachusetts, weighing 180, he is the reigning Television Champion… ATLAS ADAAAAAAAAMS!!!

Phoenix: This kid here had captured the television title some time ago but has yet to make a big splash with it in the recent shows. Maybe his defense here will show a side of him that we’ve yet to see.

Mike Announcer: the challenger from Boston, Massachusetts, weighing in at 235 he is NIGGGEEEEL VANDERRBILLTTT!!!

Phoenix: Where is Nigel at? This is a big match for him and he isn’t coming out.

Phantom: Nigel has a way of screwing up big matches in a new way every time. It looks like he couldn’t think up a way to screw it up in the ring so he just didn’t show up.

Just then Nigel comes through the crowd and slides into the ring behind Atlas.

Phoenix: There he goes!

DING!

Phoenix: Nigel snuck up on Atlas and just clotheslines him from behind and is stomping away at him. This is unfair.

Phantom: The bell rang, Phoenix. Atlas had fair warning.

Nigel picks up Atlas and throws him into the corner before running and hitting a drop kick.

Phoenix: Atlas is still a bit shaken up and he is trying to recover but he can’t seem to get past being on his knees.

Phantom: This is it!

Phoenix: Before Atlas can get off of his knees Nigel runs over and hits the Foreclosure out of nowhere! He covers. 1…2…3! We have a New Champion!

Mike Announcer: Here is your winner and NEEEEEEEW LPW TELEVISION CHAMPION… NIGEL VAAAAAAAAAADERBILT!!!

“When they come for me” by Linkin Park plays as dollar bills fall from the sky and Nigel raises his hands high in the air. He is handed the Television championship which he hugs to his chest greedily. He climbs out of the ring and walks up the ramp with the biggest smile ever on his face.

Phoenix: Nigel has done it, he finally has won his first championship but now with the title being defended every Insanity broadcast let’s see how long he can hold on to his new prize.

Phantom: Huge win from Nigel but hopefully he doesn’t let this win get to his head.

We go live, via satellite feed, to a stoic looking DeSean J. Connery he sighs as he composes his thoughts, before removing his fitted Pittsburgh Pirates hat.

DJC: Aight look... I ain't the kind of dude that particularly thrives in mushy situations, but recently mayne... a part of my childhood died. Now we all know that recently the pro wrestling world lost a dude that was immensely influential to it becomin' the world giant it is now and I was asked to share my thoughts on the man that first got me hooked on pro wrestlin'. That person is "Macho Man" Randy Savage.

DJC rubs his forehead in an attempt to maintain his composure.

DJC: I ain't kno' 'em personally, but I do know that I was a, what the innanet peeps term as "mark" for this dude, fam. I remember back when I was knee-high to a ant, with a bath towel round my neck, runnin' through the house in nothin' but tighty-whiteys screamin at the top of my lil' lungs "MACHO MAN!" before pointin' and jumpin' off the arm of the couch.

I messed around and got in trouble bout that once. My pops was layin on the flo', he had taken some time off work after tweakin' his back... and I was runnin' and he was ripe fo' the pickin' especially when the Wrestling Challenge was pumpin' through the tube. I got on that couch, let out my battle cry and commenced in layin' out ya boy's first-ever Soap To Ya Dome! I came down right cross my pops' back and I know had he not been hurt, he would've beat the brakes off my ass, HA-HA!

DJC's usually jovial expression melts away quickly as he becomes more stoic.

DJC: To me, Macho Man was the kind of dude that made it cool to do ya own thang. Whether it be wearing goggles and capes and loud ass feminine colors that only he could pull off, or being one of the first heavyweight-type dudes to really exploit the aerial side of thangs as effective techniques in battle, that beast ass elbow, Miss Elizabeth on his arm, that deep ass gravelly voice he used to do them prop-heavy promos with that had me on the edge of my seat, Apple Jacks in my lap... He was one of a kind, B.

I hate to say that I ain't never met the dude, but honestly he was the reason I first started tunin' in to wrestling. I had his Macho King Wrestling Buddy, I had his toy, I had almost every thang of his I could. I went bananas when he dropped Ric Flair for the belt at Wrestlemania 8, I damn near cried when Jake Roberts put the Cobra to 'em. I can safely say that without Macho Madness, I prolly wouldn't even have thought about wrestling as a way to get paper.

DJC looks to the sky and back to the screen before continuing.

DJC: Mr. Savage, as a fan I give ya mad props for everythang you did in that ring, you was a consummate showman, beast technician, and one of the all-time greats. Rest in Power, fam. You'll always be the cream of the crop to me.

With that, Illyman puts on his hat and reveals some "Macho Man" esque shades, putting them on as he stands up. Illy's last action of tribute is placing a small container of coffee cream on the table beside him before leaving, while the camera zooms in on it before fading out.

Phoenix:Up Next is our LPW Hardcore Championship bout and you have to wonder what kind of Shape Big B. is in after that Battle Royal. The Champ dominated and hit a beautiful Big B. Bomb on cYn out of nowhere. Your going to go far kid.

Phantom: Quiet before the Offspring sews us.

Phoenix: They are not going to sew us but regardless this match was made last minute when Brown attempted to demand a match from Scorpio so let’s see what the champ has in the tank.

Mike Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, The following contest is for one fall and for the LPW Hardcore Championship.

"Beast Mode" by B.o.B. as Xander Kross comes out with a cocky look on his face.  He gets a pop form the crowd and looks towards the ramp waiting for his opponent.

Mike Announcer: and his opponent… the HARDCORE CHAMPION… BIG….B…. BROOOOWN!

“Dr. Feelgood" by Motley Crue blast as the crowd roars for a home town superstar in Big B. Brown. He holds up the LPW Hardcore title proudly and walks down the ramp with determination.

Phoenix: Brown and Kross are standing face to face and it looks like Kross is smack talking Brown trying to get into his head and Brown Snap! He charges at Kross and hits a mammoth Spine buster! Kross wasn’t expecting it and is knocked cold, Brown covers…1…2…3! This one is over!

Mike Announcer: Here is your winner and STILL LPW HARDCORE CHAMPION… BIG…B…BROWN!!!

The crowd is cheering as Savana looks really hyped up. He slides into the ring and looks at himself in the mirror before finally looking out into the crowd.

Savana: What about that goddamn battle royal?! Third place! Huh! Ain’t bad for a nigga that’s been diagnosed as BEEP. But first Damn Kross, Brown knocked you the BEEP out!

Savana: Before I get down to talk show business I got to say something to a Mr. Andrew Michaels. Hey yo homey you know I’ll be seeing you real soon. More on that next show. Ha. For now though I would like to introduce you to my guest, OZZY CRERAR!

“Cracked Actor” by David plays as Ozzy makes his way out to the ring not looking super happy.

Savana: Ozzy your making my set look very drab with your face man, smile just a bit for me.

Ozzy: Pretty pissed that a sucker punching fruit cake cost me the Battle Royal.

Savana: Well to be fair I’d been eyeballing eliminating you anyway. All joking aside I know what you’re talking about, homes.

Ozzy: To top it off he goes and wins the Television title.

Savana: Well how is that a bad thing? That’s a good thing. Now the storyline creators are almost obliged to book you in a match with him for the title.

Ozzy: Oh?

Savana: Oh yes. In a world where our shows are spread so far apart we have to have a feeling of connections with these mini feuds. So you vs. Nigel could be great to link together the shows.

Ozzy: What if he loses it before I can challenge him for it?

Savana: Well then you beat him afterwards. There is a long list of television champions whose careers took a nosedive after losing the title.

Ozzy: Even more while holding the title.

Savana: Now you’re following me homeslice. So do you feel better about losing the Battle Royal?

Ozzy: Not so much no; Especially if it doesn’t end in a title match with Nigel.

Savana: You could always run in on his matches until then.

Ozzy: That’ll lead to a multi-man match. It always turns out that way.

Savana: Well logically speaking many of the lower level wrestlers will be idle so there is the chance they will be pointlessly put in for simply not committing suicide to begin with.

Ozzy: Should I got on a rampage taking out the competition?

Savana:  Then you’d be heel and there would be a good chance that you not face Nigel anyway. I’d say let the world work its magic.

Ozzy: But what if Nigel gets on a big roll and I eventually face him but it is too deep into his roll and he beats me like it was nothing?

Savana: When has that ever happened?

Ozzy: Mass Chaos, Big B. Brown, Hatchet Ryda, Pope Fred, Ash Strife-

Savana: Enough! I get your point I fear.  You could just keep talking shit about him until you get a match.

Ozzy: I’ve been doing that but he cost me my match you see. Which is where I’m at now, Bit of a crossroads.

Savana: How about this. If I get to him first and get my Whore back I’ll hog tie him-

Ozzy: Cuz your TEXAN!!! YEEEE HAWWW!

Savana:…………..and let you have him.

Ozzy: Deal!

The both of them stand there awkwardly as Ozzy keeps looking behind him.

Savana: What are you looking for?

Ozzy: Is that it? The show over? No fights, no confrontations, no run ins? Kind of anticlimactic. We just agreed that we would work together to get Nigel.

Savana: I don’t want to say we teamed together against Nigel because then they might put me and you against him in a tag match. Remember the match bookers are simple creatures. You’ve got to watch what you say.

Ozzy: Oh then what kind of a deal do we have here then?

Savana: You’re like Bobba Fett and I’m Darth Vader. You’re after Nigel and I may or may not whoop his ass for you. I’m also after him but there is no way I’m Jabba the Hut. Fool gets choked out yo.

Ozzy: So there is a bounty out for his head?

Savana: That you yourself want to collect on.

Ozzy: Huh. That’s interesting….

Savana: Please go to commercial now….

The scene cuts to cYnical sitting in the back. He looks at his hands and is holding an old school WWF trading card of Randy savage.

cYnical: They say you never forget the first wrestling match you see. *For me, this happened around 1983 or so. *It was a battle royale inside a steel cage. *In the mass of humanity, I can only remember one face - Macho Man Randy Savage. *It's inexplicable how a man half hanging out the door of a cage with so many other things going on could make such a connection with a kid watching from home. *All he did was groan in agony, but that image was burned into my psyche forever. *How was this possible?

The Macho Man had presence. *He had the elusive "it" factor. *Hulk Hogan may have become the biggest star in wrestling history, but there were many instances in which Hulkamania was shown up and even blown away by The Madness.

Whether he was flying into a jealous rage over Miss Elizabeth, scortching the ring at Wrestlemania with Steamboat or Flair, outshining Arsenio Hall (on his own show), leading the nWo Wolfpac rebellion against Hogan's Team Hollywood, whipping Space Ghost into shape, hocking Slim Jims, or kicking Spiderman's ass, Mach stole every moment he was in. *With a "voice that bellowed like a rock and roll saxophone," Randy Savage cut some of the most intense, unintelligible, and entertaining promos ever captured on film. *Only the Ultimate Warrior could come close to matching his promo prowess.

You wanna talk about feuds? *Savage was legendary for his OCD nature and attention to detail. *Every move, every confrontation, every little splash of nuance was mapped out to the Nth degree, and it paid off. *The implosion of the Mega Powers, the heinous allegations by Ric Flair, Mr. Perfect, and The Brain, teaming with Queen Sherri against Dusty Rhodes and Sapphire, and even his short, random feud with Crush were special. *The way he single-handily made DDP a superstar is a testament to not only his eye for talent, but his level of professionalism and class. *His dedication to the craft was probably never more evident than during his amazing feud with Jake Roberts. *If a man is willing to sell a legit bite from a giant cobra just for the sake of making a storyline more compelling, then he's dedicated. *That footage still gives me chills when I watch it.

Randy Savage did what very few ever have. *He transcended wrestling to become a legitimate superstar and brand. *He was, and is, bigger than wrestling. *It's become a cliche', but The Macho Man was larger than life. *He was a god among men, and a living, breathing cartoon character. *He was one of the all-time great workers, and all-time great talkers in wrestling history. *If anyone ever compiles a "best ever" list and Savage isn't at least in the top five, they should be ashamed of themselves. *Randy influenced an entire generation of kids to become not only wrestlers, but entertainers and actors. *He did it all, and he did it better than anyone else.

I can honestly say that I wouldn't be who I am today, had I not grown up watching The Macho Man on television each week. *To many of us wrestling fans, Randy was family. *We've now lost a huge, important part of that family. *Thank you so much, Randy Poffo, for the effort, the time, the dedication the sacrifice, and the pure love of your craft. *Thank you so much, Randy Savage, for the jealous tirades, the epic elbow drops and double ax handles, the thrilling near-falls, and high-risks. *Thank you so much, Macho Man, for sharing your passion, energy, poise, charisma, and revolutionary linguistics you unleashed upon the world. *Most of all, thank you for being you.

Rest in peace, Randy. *We love you like no other.

cYnical holds the card to his face and nodes out of respect before setting it down and walking off while the camera focuses in on the card.

”Digital Bath” by The Deftones  blasts through the speakers  ushering the returning The Rabbi to the ring as the crowd erupts in cheers. Phoenix stands up applauding The Rabbi as Phantom looks on in disgust.

Phantom Lord: What the hell are you doing?

Phoenix: Paying respect to one of the great veterans of LPW. This man has almost done it all in this business. United States Champion, Television Champion and Tag Team Champions with another great in our company, “Sick” Nick.

Phantom Lord: Yet, he STILL can’t win the big one. He’s like an older Eddie B. Sickening.

Phoenix: And you can?

Phantom Lord: Just get back to the match, toad.

Phoenix: The Rabbi looks to be in great shape as he slides into the ring. These fans are showing him all the support in the world. Just look and listen to these fans go nuts as he stands on that top turnbuckle!

Suddenly, “Mudshovel” by Staind interrupts The Rabbi’s cheers as Seth Omega saunters down the ramp.

Mike Announcer: And his opponent…

Seth Omega: Don’t worry, Mike. This introduction needs to be done correctly so that all of these shit eating roaches can understand.

The crowd begins viciously booing Seth.

Seth Omega: And the old timer’s opponent, I stand at 6’4”, 314lbs. of destruction. I am a former Hardcore Champion and THE NUMBER ONE CONTENDER to the WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT Champion…

The crowd continues to boo Seth.

Seth Omega: I said I am THE NUMBER ONE CONTENDER to the WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP! I am THE Strong Style Messiah of LPW and YOUR NEXT World Heavyweight Champion. I am Seth Omega.

The sound of Seth’s voice is immediately replaced jeers and hissing as the audience is letting Seth know how the really feel about him.

Phantom: Finally, a touch of class to this show.

Phoenix: WHAT!?! I thought you hated Seth Omega. Didn’t he defeat you?

Phantom: He may have etched out a victory but it was that match that truly set this man on the right path to success. I, technically, made Seth what he is today: the number one contender. Don’t you forget it, chump.

Phoenix: R…riiight. And there’s the bell. This contest is on its way. The Rabbi and Seth both meet in the center of the ring and Rabbi is extending his hand for a handshake. Great sportsmanship by Rabbi which is to be expected.

Seth looks at Rabbi’s hand and goes to shake it but then pie-faces Rabbi pushing him hard into the ropes. Rabbi bounces forward and Seth meets him with a hard right hand to the mouth.

Phantom: That’s what is needed in today’s wrestling world: brute force and reckless aggression. Show that Jew who’s boss, Seth!

Phoenix: Seth is raining down right hands on Rabbi who hasn’t yet gotten out of the starting gates just yet. Seth drags Rabbi over to the corner and is using Rabbi as a punching bag! Rights and lefts to the ribs and chest of Rabbi! He follows that up with martial arts kicks to the ribs and legs. Seth is trying to prove to everyone that no veteran will just waltz into Insanity again without going through him.

Phantom: And rightfully so. Look at him – with Rabbi slumped over in the corner, Seth is backing up to get a head start.

Phoenix: BOOM! Seth almost took Rabbi’s head off with that running knee to the face. This could be over before it even began! He drags Rabbi out to the center of the ring and covers him. 1…2…NO! Kick out at the count of two.

Phantom: Judging by the smile that crept across Seth’s face, I think he enjoyed Rabbi kicking out. That just means more punishment to dole out. Stomp on those knees, Seth! Break his leg!

Phoenix: Why are you so violent?

Phantom: You act as though this is a surprise. I know you’ve followed my career, groupie.

Phoenix: It looks like he has taken your advice. Seth is just stomping on the knees and shins of Rabbi and now he has taken a little break to pander to our crowd who is letting him have it.

Phantom: I don’t recommend this. When you have a man down, you need to stay on top of him. That’s the only way you’re going to continue putting ‘W’s’ in the records column.

Just as Seth reaches down again to pick Rabbi up, he is met with a sharp kick right to the head.

Phoenix: Rabbi isn’t done yet! The first kick stunned Seth. The second one has sent him reeling back into the ropes. Rabbi limps up and catches Seth coming in with a back body drop!

Phantom: Desperation. Pure desperation.

Phoenix: But it was a smart move by the veteran. Seth is up and charges Rabbi but is met with a kick to the gut and follows it up with a Fisherman’s suplex! Rabbi is all fired up and this crowd loves it! Rabbi with an irish whip into the ropes and Seth gets leveled with a clothesline. Seth’s up again and is quickly put down on his back by another clothesline. Seth sets up again and is caught my hip toss. I don’t think Seth expected this kind of a fight from The Rabbi.

Phantom: Neither did I but he is a veteran of our sport so I guess that counts for something…he should’ve brought all of this intensity to his first merry go round in LPW. He may have won “the big one”.

Phoenix: The past is the past, Phantom and the present looks brighter for The Rabbi if he can keep up his focus. Rabbi with a reverse chinlock on Seth trying to wear the big man down.

Phantom: Intelligent move by Rabbi. I can’t believe I said that!

Phoenix: But Seth still has fight left in him. He’s rising up slowly while Rabbi is trying his damndest to keep that hold on him. Seth is up to both his feet with Rabbi STILL clinging on.

Seth gets a running start backwards forcing Rabbi into the turnbuckle and breaking the hold.

Phantom: So much for that “intelligence”…

Phoenix: Seth has made it to the opposite corner and it looks like he’s ready to charge.

Phantom: Look at that intensity in that man’s eyes. He wants to destroy Rabbi in that corner.

Phoenix: There he goes but NO! Rabbi leapfrogs over Seth forcing Seth into the corner. Rabbi charges back but gets tossed over the top rope, but he lands on the ring apron!

Seth turns around and delivers a yakuza kick to the head of Rabbi forcing Rabbi to crumple to the outside. The fans are none too pleased booing Seth as he raises his hands. The ref begins the count.

Phantom: Great move by Seth and really, these fans should feel lucky they’re seeing such a hard fought match. Just because Seth is making Rabbi his personal man slave in this match is no reason to boo him.

Phoenix: He and Steve Storme’s actions as of late hasn’t made everyone feel as warm and gushy about the Anarchists as you do. Rabbi is stirring on the outside. He needs to get back in that ring to break the count otherwise he’s disqualified.

Phantom: And Seth is going to allow that to happen. Look at him with that sly smirk on his face. Hey, I guess a win is a win.

Just as the ref gets to 9, Rabbi rolls back in the ring but Seth is on the attack; kicking and striking on Rabbi as he is in the ropes. Seth pulls Rabbi back to the center of the ring for a belly to belly suplex.

Phantom: Crush him!

Phoenix: Why are you so sadistic?

Phantom: Hi. My name is Phantom Lord, have we met?

Phoenix: Ugh. Seth begins to concentrate on the neck of Rabbi just viciously stomping on it. He’s showing the world why he is the number one contender.

Phantom: He’s trying to soften him up for that Heart Shaped Box; the crucifix piledriver which will definitely send home the point that Seth is the real deal. I believe him.

Phoenix: Seth gets Rabbi up to his feet and delivers not one but two stiff European uppercuts to Rabbi and goes for the pin. 1…2...kick out by the RabbI! My goodness, how is he doing this? Seth has been at his neck for the better part of this match but Rabbi continues to stay alive. Frustration is replacing the confidence Seth exhibited earlier on. Now he’s trying to loosen up that turnbuckle pad. What the hell is this for?

Phantom: Are you brain dead? Look at him. The referee is stopping him for doing it and is trying to put the pad back on himself. Can we say “distraction”?

As Seth goes back to Rabbi, he is met with a thumb to the eye!

Phantom: What the hell?

Phoenix: Turnabout is fair play! Rabbi is lighting Seth up with lefts and rights and a big clothesline. Rabbi is climbing up top now and the crowd is going crazy! A “Rabbi” chant has broken out as he stands atop the turnbuckle.

Phantom: He’s wasting too much time up there!

Phoenix: Rabbi dives off but comes CRASHING down to the canvas as Seth moves out of the way of that errant headbutt.

Phantom: Stupid Jew.

Phoenix: Seth is up and he’s calling for the end. He’s setting him up for what looks like a powerbomb.

Phantom: Southern Discomfort is coming up! I prefer Jack Daniels but that’s just a side note.

Phoenix: He’s got him up but no, Rabbi has reversed it into a hurracanrana! He’s got the legs hooked!

”Digital Bath” by The Deftones  begins to play as Rabbi gets his hand raised by the referee. Seth is irate turning the ref around and yelling in his face about a fast count. Rabbi rolls out of the ring and shakes hands with the fans at ringside on his way to the backstage area. Seth is still in the ring arguing with the referee…

Phantom: Wait a second. We know whose music that is. Great…

”No More Sorrows” by Linkin Park cuts out Rabbi’s music as the General Manager of Insanity, Eric Scorpio, appears on stage. He shakes the hand of Rabbi as Rabbi exits then focuses back to the ring and Seth Omega.

Eric Scorpio: Hehe. Oh Seth…Seth, Seth. What happened? I thought the Anarchists were going to takeover Insanity and take all the gold. How can you do that when you just got defeated by someone who hasn’t been here in years!

The crowd, in agreeance with the GM, cheers their approval.

Phantom: I don’t think antagonizing Seth is a smart move, Scorpio.

Phoenix: But he makes a point, Phantom.

Eric Scorpio: I guess this is what I get when I allow these sinners to pick out a number one contender.

Scorpio’s cheers quickly turn to disdaining boos from the crowd.

Eric Scorpio: Now that your pick has proven himself to be quite the dud at the moment, it’s time for me to rectify this situation. Since you have not only embarrassed yourself and the Anarchists as a whole, you need to be put through a test, Seth. I’d like to call this test…the Trials of Scorpio.

Phantom: How clever…

Eric Scorpio: You must now prove to ME that you deserve a World Heavyweight Championship match at The Madness and the Trials of Scorpio begins next week on Insanity. Good luck, Seth. You’ll need it or you’ll die trying to ace it.

Scorpio’s music hits as Seth’s confused facial expression tells the story of the Trials of Scorpio.

Phoenix: What is the Trials of Scorpio?

Phantom: I have no idea but if Seth performs like he did tonight, he’s guaranteed to fail that exam.

The scene opens up with former Television Champion Atlas Adams on a cell phone.

Adams: Hi there, I... yeah, I know you’re a busy man... What do you mean why am I calling you when you’re in the building? Sir listen, this won’t take long, I was just wondering if you’d be interested in adding the Atlas Adams to your impressive line-up...yeah...  I know I’m with the Anarchists but I’d be an inside man, you know? ... well, I could tell you what their plans were, who they’re trying to recruit – stuff like that...

The camera pans back to reveal Seth Omega and Steve Storme stood in the doorway, eyes narrowed, staring daggers at Atlas.

Adams: This could really benefit us both... I’m telling you, Eric.

Seth and Steve move forward, their foot-steps causing Atlas to turn round with a look of shock and nervousness. Storme quickly knocks the phone to the floor with a snarl.

Adams: Hey! What was that for?!

 Storme: You BEEPup, Atlas – you really BEEP up.

Adams: Huh? I was just talking to my... my... uncle! My uncle Eric.

Storme sighs heavily, shaking his head from side to side. Then Omega suddenly palm strikes Atlas in the face. The former Television Champion stumbles backwards before the founding members of the Anarchists charge forward with swinging fists. They beat Atlas to the ground with clubbing blows to the head and neck. Adams struggles to break away but they stomp him back down viciously.

Omega: Anarchists to the death, remember?

Omega takes a few steps back and then connects with a stiff boot to Atlas’ temple, knocking him into unconsciousness as blood trickles down the side of his face. Countless officials and referees storm the room, dragging the Anarchists away while others tend to Adams.

Phoenix: Well this has been a hell of a night for your first night on the job as the new color commentator of Insanity.

Phantom: Indeed it has been Phoenix. We had an outstanding Battle Royal to start off the show and that match is going to have huge implications on our next match.

Phoenix: The man that everyone thought was the odds on favorite to win, Ash Strife…the current reigning and defending LPW United States Champion got eliminated and he tweaked his knee in the process. We don’t know how badly because he refused any medical help.

Phantom: Ash Strife is a freak of nature. It’s going to take a lot more then a bum knee to hold him down. But in just a couple of moments he will be taking on one of the great vets in this company in Mass Chaos. Chaos is a student of the game and he knows how to exploit a weakness. If Chaos sees an opening he will take it and we might just see the impossible happen tonight.

Phoenix: Are you saying you think Chaos can beat Ash Strife?

Phantom: Anyone can beat anyone on any given night. I come from a long line of gamblers so there is never a sure thing. I think Chaos might have a good chance, but it’s Ash Strife for God’s sake. The man is built like a tank…never mind the fact that he’s part of the most dominating group possibly in LPW history.

Phoenix: Well I didn’t expect you to be this objective tonight.

Phantom: I am now a respected broadcast journalist. Plus my good friend Saul would not have personally asked me to do this if I couldn’t live up to his high standards behind the microphone.

Phoenix: Did you just say Saul?

Phantom: Yes Saul. You know The New Breed, former World’s Heavyweight Champion. Saul.

Phoenix: Heh heh, I was just checking. All right fans let’s head up to the ring for the official introductions.

The shot cuts up to the ring and Mike Announcer who is ready for the introductions

Announcer: Wrestling fans the following contest on LPW Insanity is  scheduled for one fall and it is for the LPW UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP.


The lights in the arena go out as "Let Us Slay" by GWAR comes on over the pa system. A huge blast of fire rises from the stage as Ash Strife makes his way down the isle and towards the ring.

Announcer: Introducing first…coming down the isle he hails from Ontario, Canada and he stands Seven foot Four and he weighs in at 340 pounds…he is the current reigning and defending LPW UNITED STATES CHAMPION…This is AAAAAAAASSSSSSSSHHHHHHHH SSSSSSSSTTTTTTRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIFFFFFEEEEEEEEEE.

Ash slowly pulls himself up onto the ring apron and he steps over the top rope with ease.

Phantom: If he is hurt, he sure as hell isn’t showing any signs of it right now.

Phoenix: Ash is a beast, that is for sure.

The lights come back on in the arena and Ash goes down to one knee in the middle of the ring as he holds his arms out

Announcer:…AND HIS OPPONENT

"El Corazon del Guerrero" by Tierra Santa comes on and Mass Chaos comes out to a huge ovation from the MSG crowd

Announcer: Coming down the isle, he hails from Allen, Texas and he weighs in at 215 pounds…he is the challenger…this is MMMMAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS CCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

Mass Chaos slowly makes his way to ringside as Ash stares him down from the center of the ring.

Phantom: Chaos is doing the smart thing right now. He is assessing the situation before he steps into that ring. Too many people have tried and failed to get an advantage on Ash by going straight at him. Mass Chaos is smarter than that.

Phoenix: Indeed he is. You have to be smart to have made it in this company for this long. Chaos is now on the ring apron and he slowly enters the ring and Ash is up to his feet and he is still staring Mass Chaos down.

Chaos steps into the ring and he steps right up to Ash and Mass Chaos’s head only comes to about the midsection of Ash’s massive chest

Phantom: It is David vs. Goliath come to life inside Madison Square Garden right now. As a child I remember seeing many matches with the late great Andre The Giant in this building and I can tell you right now even Andre would have taken a step back with Ash standing in front of him.

Phoenix: That is debatable, but right now Mass Chaos is looking up at Ash Strife as the referee calls for the bell and this one is under way. Ash is standing in the center of the ring and he is just demanding that Mass Chaos try and do something. Chaos attempts to lock up and Ash shoves him to the mat like it is nothing. Chaos is back up again and again he tries to lock up and again Ash shoves him down to the mat.

Phantom: The conventional wrestling game will not work here tonight. Chaos needs to get Ash to make a mistake.

Phoenix: That might be a sound strategy as Chaos goes to lock up but this time he goes behind and he has a waist lock on Ash. Ash is looking for the counter and Chaos’s small size compared to Ash is helping as Ash can not find a out.

Ash takes Mass Chaos down with a hip lock and he locks on a pair of head scissors and Mass Chaos quickly nips up to break free and as Ash is getting back up, Chaos nails him with a sitting dropkick right to the side of the head

Phoenix: There you go. Chaos found an opening and he just nailed Ash Strife with the boots right to the side of his massive head. Mass Chaos is now hammering away on the big man with rights and lefts. Ash is on his knees and Chaos nails him with a boot to the midsection and another and another and Ash is dazed. Chaos quickly goes into the ropes and he tries for a clothesline but Ash grabs him with one hand by the throat and Ash is back up. Ash shoves Chaos right into the ropes and Chaos comes running back with a clothesline.

Phantom: ASH DIDN’T EVEN BLINK.

Phoenix: Chaos goes for another clothesline and it has the same effect. Chaos off into the ropes again and Ash goes for a big boot but Chaos sees it coming and he slides right under Ash and Ash turns around and Mass Chaos drills Ash with a huge right hand.

Phantom: Oh boy. I’ve seen that look before. That’s the “You trying to embarrass me on television” look…he is pissed.

Phoenix: Chaos ducks out of the ring and Ash follows behind him. Chaos is running around the ring and Ash follows behind. Chaos suddenly stops and he nails Ash with another right hand. Mass Chaos either is the smartest man in this building or he has a serious death wish because that is twice that he has popped Ash in the mouth like that. Mass Chaos tries to do it a third time and Ash catches his hand AND ASH LEVELS HIM WITH A CLOTHESLINE ON THE FLOOR.

Phantom: That is absolutely brutal. I have been hit with those clotheslines before and smacking the back of your head on the concrete does not help matters.

Phoenix: Ash is picking Mass Chaos back up by the hand and he levels him with another short arm clothesline.

Phantom: A short arm clothesline that is like being hit by the trunk of a tree.

Phoenix: Ash picks up Mass Chaos and he has him up in a bear hug position and ASH RAMS MASS CHAOS SPINE FIRST INTO THE RING POST. The referee is trying to get Ash to get back into the ring, but lets be honest…no referee is going to order Ash to do anything. Ash picks Mass Chaos back up and he rams him into the ring post once again and Ash quickly throws Mass Chaos back into the ring.

Phantom: Right now Ash is just show he can pick apart Mass Chaos anyway he damn well wants to. When you have that size and power behind you, this is the sort of thing you can do.

Phoenix: This is very true as Ash is back in the ring and he picks up Mass Chaos and he shoves him right into the corner turnbuckle. Ash is now starting to dominate as he drives a shoulder right into Mass Chaos’s midsection. Chaos is being held up by the ropes as Ash backs up to the opposite side of the ring. Ash comes charging and he levels Mass Chaos with a clothesline in the corner.

Phantom: Chaos looks like he just got run over by a truck.

Phoenix: Ash grabs Chaos by the head as he brings him back up to his feet and he scoops him up and he slams him hard down to the mat. Ash is now jaw boning with the crowd saying that this isn’t a challenge as he picks Mass Chaos back up and he has him scooped up again and he connects with a big back breaker and another and another and another.

Phantom: I think it’s clear at this point Ash is sending a message to the entire LPW locker room right now. He can do this to anyone he damn well want to.

Phoenix: Ash is holding Mass Chaos like a small child and he slides him around and he plants him with a big sidewalk slam. Ash with the lazy cover…one…two…KICKOUT by Mass Chaos. Chaos has some fight left in him, as Ash does not look happy. Ash picks Chaos back up and he drives him shoulder first into the turnbuckles once again.

Ash once again goes to the opposite corner as Mass Chaos looks out on his feet and Ash comes charging and Mass Chaos ducks out of the way before Ash can hit him and Ash rams his injured knee right into the middle turnbuckle

Phoenix: MASS CHAOS GOT OUT OF THE WAY AND ASH JUST RETWEEKED THAT KNEE.

Phantom: If Mass Chaos has anything left in the tank now is the time to suck it up. You don’t get many opportunities like this against Ash.

Phoenix: Mass Chaos is collecting himself as he’s back up as Ash tries to shake his knee and CHAOS NAILS HIM WITH A CHOP BLOCK. Ash is back up and Chaos nails him with another chop block. Mass Chaos is zeroing in on that knee as he drapes Ash’s huge leg across the bottom rope and he jumps up and drops all of his body weight right onto the knee. And he does it again for good measure and Mass Chaos has chopped the big redwood down.

Phantom: Chaos has an excellent submission base of moves. I don’t believe Ash will tap out, but you can sure as hell wear him down to the point of exhaustion.

Phoenix: That might be Mass Chaos’s strategy right now as he is continuing to work over that massive leg of Ash Strife. Chaos has a big step over toe hold on right now and Ash’s leg is just about as long as Mass Chaos is tall but Ash uses his free leg and kicks Chaos off. Ash is trying to stand back up and Mass Chaos nails him with a kick right to the back of the leg and another and another and he quickly grabs that leg once again Mass Chaos locks on a spinning toe hold.

Phantom: Such an effective hold made famous by the famous Funk family. Mass Chaos has really got it synched in right now.

Phoenix: He has it right in the center of the ring, but Ash is so damn huge that he can practically reach the ropes and Mass Chaos is hanging on with everything he has got as Ash is pulling himself to the ropes and he does and the referee is forced to call for the break.

Ash wisely rolls himself out to the floor and tries to get some feeling back into his leg. As Ash is standing by the apron, Mass Chaos comes running and he nails him with a baseball slide that sends Ash into the guardrails

Phoenix: Ash wasn’t expecting that one as he sent him back and right into the cold hard steel.

Phantom: We’ve both been thrown against those guardrails in our career and no matter how it happens, it hurts like hell.

Phoenix: Ash right now looks like he is almost in a world of hurt as his knee has to be in tremendous pain even for someone with his threshold. Meanwhile Mass Chaos is on the top turnbuckle. He is waiting for Ash to turn around…MASS CHAOS WITH A CROSS BODY TO THE FLOOR ONTO ASH.

Phantom: That is a move that normally Ash would catch someone no matter what their size, but right now Mass Chaos has Ash Strife possibly where he wants him in this huge title match.

Phoenix: Mass Chaos has Ash by the head as he is using all of his strength to bring him back up to his feet and Mass Chaos slams Ash head first right into the ring apron…and again and again and again. This New York crowd is solidly behind Mass Chaos right now as the giant Ash is stunned. Mass Chaos is now using all of his strength to get the big man up on the apron as he rolls him back into the ring.

Phantom: Chaos really has to be careful with his energy. Doing something simple as rolling a guy into the ring of that size could easily sap what ever has left.

Phoenix: Chaos is back up on the apron and he sling shots himself over and connects with a big leg drop. He goes for the cover…one…two…KICKOUT WITH AUTHORITY. Ash might be hurt, but he is not down and out. Chaos quickly gets back up and he drops an elbow right onto Ash and another and another.

Phantom: Chaos relies on a lot of big impact moves in his repertoire, but I think it’s going to be impossible for Chaos to hit something like The Final Disarray onto Ash Strife.

Phoenix: I believe that would be a safe bet as Ash is back up to a knee and Mass Chaos nails him with a forearm and another and another and he kicks him right in that bad knee and Chaos goes into the ropes and he connects with The Strikes of Confusion. He goes for a cover…one…two…KICKOUT by Ash Strife.

Phantom: It might be a matter of physics tonight for Mass Chaos. He simply does not have the body mass to keep those gigantic shoulders of Ash Strife down for a three.

Phoenix: Mass Chaos is now climbing up to the top rope and ASH SHOVES THE REFEREE INTO THE ROPES. Mass Chaos is crotched on the top rope and the referee is down and out.

Ash stands back up and he walks over to the corner and grabs Mass Chaos by the throat and lifts him up into the air

Phantom: My God would you look at the power of this man.

Phoenix: Ash Strife has Mass Chaos all the way up…almost ten feet above the ring AND HE PLANTS HIM WITH THE CHOKESLAM. Chaos is done, but the referee is out. Ash is picking up a limp Mass Chaos and he’s setting him up for The Strife Spike. Chaos drops to a knee and he is holding onto Ash’s leg in an attempt to block the hold but Ash nails him with a clubbing forearm to the back and he has him set back up. He picks him up AND CHAOS BREAKS FREE. Ash turns around and Chaos nails Ash with a kick right to the bad knee and Chaos grabs him by the head…DDT. He has Ash pinned but the referee is still down.

Mass Chaos sees an opportunity and he goes back to the outside and climbs up to the top rope and he sets up for The State Of Emergency

Phoenix: Chaos is on the top rope. Ash is down and out…CHAOS GOES FOR THE STATE OF EMERGENCY AND CONNECTS. The referee is stirring and Mass Chaos has got Ash pinned. The referee slowly makes the count…ONE……TWO….KICKOUT BY ASH STRIFE.

Phantom: That was about as close as one can get to three. Mass Chaos is thinking to himself what can I possibly do to keep this monster down.

Phoenix: Mass Chaos is now in the corner and he’s setting up for something big as Ash gets back to his feet. Chaos comes running and Ash catches him and he sends him back into the ropes. Ash on the reversal as he picks Chaos up but Chaos counters into a head scissors…HE LOCKS ON THE CHAOS LOCK. MASS CHAOS HAS ASH TIED UP INTO A KNOT IN THE CENTER OF THE RING WITH THE CHAOS LOCK.

Phantom: This building is shaking right now from all of these people rallying behind Mass Chaos.

Phoenix: Ash is caught in the Chaos Lock and Mass Chaos is pulling back on that arm. ASH IS TRYING TO STAND BACK UP AND HE’S ON HIS FEET. ASH IS TRYING TO REACH THE ROPES AS MASS CHAOS HANGS ON FOR DEAR LIFE. ASH IS STARTING TO FADE AS HE DROPS TO A KNEE. CHAOS HAS HIS LEGS WRAPPED AROUND ASH’S NECK AS HE PULLS BACK ON THAT ARM.

Phantom: A lesser man would have tapped by now.  Mass Chaos has basically holds on him with that arm bar and a choke with the legs.

Phoenix: ASH HAS FALLEN TO THE MAT. THE REFEREE IS CHECKING HIS FREE ARM…IT DROPS ONCE….IT DROPS TWICE…IT DROPS A THIRD TIME…HE’S CALLING FOR THE BELL…WE HAVE A NEW CHAMPION.

Announcer: THE WINNER OF THE MATCH AND NNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWW LPW UNITED STATES CHAMPION MMMMMMAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS CCCCCCHHHHHAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

Phantom: My God what a match. This place is going bananas right now.

Phoenix: The 500 plus day reign of terror by Ash Strife is over. Mass Chaos is the new LPW United States champion and the newest LPW Grand slam champion. What a feat from the living legend himself.

Members of the LPW Locker room including Cynical and others come running out to congratulate Mass Chaos as he stands on the second rope holding the United States championship high above his head. Ash Strife is seen leaving the ring as he shoves referees and LPW officials who were trying to help him

Phoenix: I think I almost lost my voice in that last minute of the match.

Phantom: It was an incredible match. Back and forth action as Mass Chaos had to use his fast wrestling knowledge to chop the giant down to size. The Chaos Lock proved to be the difference maker as those head scissors cut off the blood to the head. Ash did not submit, but he put up one hell of a fight in the process. I’m not sure anyone else could have lasted longer than he did without passing out.

The camera follows Mass Chaos back into the locker room area of Madison Square Garden and more LPW Wrestlers and officials congratulate him on his monumental win.

Phoenix: Now it is time for our huge main event! This match has been anticipated since Morpheus made his return to LPW a few months ago. These two men have a long history against each other, but now the odds are stacked higher with the LPW World Heavyweight Championship hanging in the balance.

Phantom: Tonight we will see these two men battle to settle old scores. For Morpheus, it is his first title defense as World Champion. For cYnical, it is the chance to become a three time World Heavyweight Champion in LPW, a mark that is unprecedented! When cYnical first came, I thought he was out of his mind crazy and wouldn't last long, but this man has shown himself to be one of the great champions in LPW. If anyone can make Morpheus' World Title reign a short one, it is cYnical! Morpheus came into LPW long ago as a house on fire, having the original longest winning streak in LPW/PWA history and seemed to be destined to be the World Champ. But will he be able to get past the always tough first title defense? This match is could be remembered in the annuls of LPW history!

Phoenix: Making things interesting, cYnical was in the Master of the Asylum Battle Royale earlier and has to be tired. He was the first one in the match and the last one eliminated, running the gauntlet against all fifteen men!

Phantom: Even with the rest after the Battle Royale, the toll has been taken against cYnical. But the Keeper of the Flame has time and again proven that he can dig in deep to get the win. Morpheus doesn't seem to be the one to take a man lightly, but he should know not to take a wounded man lightly.

“Epic” by Faith No More blares on the PA as the arena goes dark. The lights pop back up moments later as cYnical appears on the arena floor out of nowhere. He moves slowly toward the ring, walking gingerly from his wounds from the Battle Royale earlier. He stands in the corner and waits for Morpheus, staring at the stage.“Blackwater” by Symphorce blares on the PA as the arena goes dark for over a minute. When the lights suddenly come on, Morpheus appears at the end of the ramp, the crowd going into a frenzy at the appearance of the champion. Morpheus slowly walks to the ring and stares at his challenger and rival.

Mike Announcer: This match is scheduled for one fall and is for the LPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing first the challenger. He hails from “The Dark Side of Your Subconscious.” He weighs in tonight at 190 pounds. He is “The g(o)d of LPW.” This is CYYYYYYNICAL!!! And now the Champion! He hails from “The Dream Realm” and weighs in tonight at 256 pounds! He is “The Master of the Dream Realm!” This is MOOOOOORPHEUS!!!


Phoenix: The ref rings the bell as both men stand in their respective corners, the crowd continuing to go crazy over this match up!

Phantom: This match is five years in the making, Phoenix! Even these morons in the crowd know the history of these two. Morpheus tasted his first bit of defeat early in his career at the hands of cYnical, but then went on his amazing winning streak, even defeating cYnical one on one. These two have waited five years to settle the score. And in the balance, aside from bragging rights, the LPW World Heavyweight Championship! The only belt in LPW or the world that matters!

Both men circle a few steps around the ring, than lock up. Morpheus quickly locks in a headlock and starts to wrench it in. cYnical shows Morpheus into the ropes, but Morpheus takes him down with a shoulder block. He picks cYnical up and Irish whips him to the ropes, going for a clothesline. Cynical dodges the attack and hits Morpheus with a picture perfect dropkick. Morpheus lifts himself up slowly, keeping his gaze on cYnical.

Phoenix: The opening exchange between both men is brief, as both men seem to not want to concede a mistake to there opponent. It appears cYnical doesn't have the normal pep in his step.

Phantom: cYnical went through 15 men in that Battle Royale and was the first man in the match. I am impressed he is showing any fight at all. Between cYnical already being battle worn and Morpheus not wanting to do anything that would allow cYn to get a quick win, there will not be any wild exchanges as of yet, Phoenix.

Phoenix: Both men are up and lock up in the collar and elbow tie up. Morpheus powers cYnical into the corner, both men maintaining the tie up. Ref tells both men to break...Morpheus with a big right hand to cYnical. And he goes with a few more rights! He Irish whips cYnical into the opposite corner. Morpheus comes charging for an elbow strike...cYnical with a boot to stop the advancing Morpheus!

Phantom: cYnical can't win a power match up with Morpheus. He needs to use his speed and agility to strike quick, but in a way that doesn't tire him out.

Phoenix: cYnical picks up Morpheus and hits him with a number of elbow strikes to the face. He runs to the ropes. Morpheus goes for a clothesline, but cYnical rolls out of the way and dropkicks Morpheus in the knee! Morpheus is on one knee, cYnical is attempting the Shining Wizard, but Morpheus blocks it! Morpheus and cYncial back to opposite corners as the crowd goes into a frenzy!

Phantom: This has been a highly anticipated match, dating back to Morpheus return to LPW at LPW Homecoming 2010, teaming with assisting Styxx in his domination against cYnical and Sheepster. And for those that don't know, Morpheus can claim to be one of the few men to have a win against every member of the BMJ's!

Phoenix: He never fought Samyi Song.

Phantom: Just like your wrestling career, Phoenix, he didn't matter!

Both men go to lock up again, but Morpheus quickly breaks the lock with a number of stiff elbows to the head of cYnical, than a strong European uppercut, rocking cYnical to the ropes. Morpheus Irish whips cYnical to the ropes and kicks him in the gut. He runs to the opposite ropes, looking for a spinning neckbreaker, but cYnical jumps up and runs toward the ropes with Morpheus. Morpheus stops and gets knocked down with a stiff running elbow strike.

Phoenix: Interesting rope a dope by cYnical on Morpheus!

Phantom: cYnical took a page out of Naomichi Marufuji's playbook by running to the ropes a second after Morpheus did, causing confusion and then hitting him with that opening.

Phoenix: Morpheus gets to one knee and cYnical opens up with a succession of kicks to Morph's chest. Cynical is backing up, going for a running yakuza kick...but Morpheus catches him and plants cYnical with a Capture Suplex!

Phantom: Haven't seen that move in a while. Good counter by “The Master of the Dream Realm”!

Phoenix: Morpheus picks up cYnical, but cYnical pops up and nails a number of forearm shots to Morph's face! He runs to the ropes and goes for a lariat...but Morph ducks and takes cYnical down with a hangman's neckbreaker!

Phantom: This is where Morpheus strikes the hardest. He likes to really mess up the head and neck area. And with cYnical obviously fatigued from the Battle Royale, this makes Morpheus' offense even more potent.

Morpheus lifts cYnical up and drags him to the corner, hitting him with forearm shots in the face. He Irish whips cYnical into the opposite corner roughly, causing the cYnical to crash into the corner with a loud thud. Morpheus runs toward cYnical and hits him with a running knee to the head of cYnical, knocking him down.

Phoenix: Big running knee by Morpheus! Morpheus is the first man to take full control of the match.

Phantom: Matches go through peaks and valleys, Phoenix. While Morpheus has done a good job of taking control, the fighting spirit of cYnical can never be underestimated. Before we know it, cYnical could be taking control over again.

Phoenix: Morpheus picks cYnical up and puts in a headlock, really wrenching it in there!

Phantom: This is a very underrated move. Everyone thinks of it as a move you just slap on. In the right hands, it can be used to weaken an opponent’s neck or even can be used as a submission. But no, everyone wants to see guys doing 40 flips in the air!

Phoenix: 40 Flips in the air? Who does that?

Phantom: Obviously not you, Phoenix. You had two left feet in the ring. Must be nice to be carried to the Tag Team Championship, huh?

Phoenix: And Morpheus is continuing with the headlock. Cynical is trying to fight out of the hold, throwing elbows to the back of Morpheus. He shoves Morpheus off of him to the ropes, but Morpheus knocks him down with shoulder block. Morpheus sees cYnical slowly getting up and runs to the rope, looking for a swinging neckbreaker. And cYnical steps out of the way! Morpheus turns around...stiff rolling elbow strike by cYnical, stopping Morpheus in his tracks!

Phantom: cYnical could find his opportunity to come back into this! This could be his chance to gain control!

Morpheus is still up, but wobbly, as cYnical throws a succession of hard kicks to the right leg and body of Morpheus. He then kicks Morpheus with a spin kick to the gut. Cynical runs to the ropes but Morpheus hits him with a strong back elbow shot, cutting off cYnical's momentary comeback. He stomps on cYnical's head a few times, than locks in a camel clutch, further aiming for his head and neck area.

Phoenix: cYnical had a momentary opening, but Morpheus came back and is back in control.

Phantom: Morpheus is doing an excellent job keeping cYnical grounded and not letting him breathe! You can tell that cYnical is still feeling the after effects of the Battle Royale, but you must also give the World Champ his due. He was always destined for greatness and he is showing it in his first Title defense.

Phoenix: cYnical is reaching for the ropes and finally grabs a hold of them. Morpheus keeps the hold locked in until the ref counts to four, than gives cYnical a few stomps to the neck again. Morpheus picks up cYnical and puts him in a front necklock, putting a lot of pressure on the neck of cYnical.

Phantom: From here, Morpheus can do so many things. He can hit him with a DDT or swinging neckbreaker if he moves around or he could knee him in the gut or head. He could also wrench this until he gets a tap out, as the standing front necklock is a preferred hold of Puro star Jun Akiyama!

Phoenix: cYnical is trying to fight Morpheus off, attempting to power out. Morph with a knee to the head, knocking cYnical down. Morpheus picks cYnical and kicks him in the gut. He looks to be going for a powerbomb!

As Morpheus lifts cYnical up, cYnical counters out. Morpheus goes to clothsline cYnical, but cYnical dodges it and hits Morpheus with a savate kick, sending him to the outside. As Morpheus gets up, cYnical comes diving out with a sliding dropkick, knocking Morpheus against the rail. Morpheus comes off the rail and cYnical takes him out with an asai moonsault. The crowd goes into a frenzy as cYnical gets up and energizes the crowd.

Phoenix: cYnical could be back in this match. He was able to get out of that powerbomb and than took Morpheus down on the arena floor!

Phantom: cYnical has taken a lot of punishment all night. Can he dig in deep to become an unprecedented three time LPW World Heavyweight Champion?

Phoenix: cYnical grabs Morpheus and shoves him back first into the apron, Morpheus wrenching in pain over the move. Cynical throws Morpheus back into the ring and follows quickly.

Phantom: cYnical has been here before many times as a challenger in title matches. He knows that if you gain the advantage, you attack and stay on your opponent instead of being overconfident that he is down.

Phoenix: Which explains your failures in title matches, Phantom.

Phantom: Who's the Hall of Famer here, Phoenix? That's right! Not you!

Phoenix: cYnical picks up Morpheus and hits him with a number of kicks to the body. He runs to the ropes. Morpheus tries for a clothsline...misses! He turns around...cYnical with a modified version of the Sling Blade, landing the Spinning Sleeper Slam into a backbreaker.

Phantom: He is using his speed now and it appears he is focusing on Morpheus' back, which could somewhat limit how much lifting he can do if cYnical stays on him.

Phoenix: cYnical locks in a camel clutch of his own, placing his knee on the small of Morpheus' back! He is nullifying Morpheus' size advantage.

Phantom: To be fair, that “size” advantage is only based on weight. Both men are the same height. We are seeing the type of performance from cYnical that would rival Flair's sixty minutes in the 92 Royal Rumble.

Phoenix: Morpheus is trying to reach for the ropes, but cYnical's knee is keeping him from moving far. Cynical releases the hold.

Phantom: Bad move on his part!

Phoenix: And proceeds to spin Morpheus around grab his wrist in a double wrist clutch and starts to stomp repeatedly on his face, taking a page out of Bryan Danielson's playbook.

Phantom: Great change up on his part!

Phoenix: cYnical stops with the stomps and picks Morpheus up. Morpheus with a strong elbow strike! Cynical answers back with an elbow strike of his own. Morpheus with knee to the gut. Morpheus backs up a few steps and goes for a lariat...cYnical stops him dead in his tracks with an STO Backbreaker, using Morpheus' momentum against him!

Phantom: Morpheus is hold his back in agony. It appears cYnical has found Morpheus' weak point and is continuing his assault on it.

Phoenix: Morpheus is getting up, but cYnical continues to hammer away at Morpheus with kicks to the body. Cynical attempts another kick, but Morpheus catches it! He spins cYnical around and attempts a German suplex...but cYnical blocks the attempt by clutching his leg on Morpheus' leg. Cynical spins down, dropping Morpheus with a spinning drop toe hold! And now he is locking in the Muta Lock!

Phantom: cYnical is really stepping it up, using his speed and veteran prowess to confuse his old rival.

Phoenix: The ref calls for a break, as Morpheus was close to the ropes when cYnical locked in the submission. Cynical picks up Morpheus and kicks him in the stomach. He holds his arm up and grabs at Morpheus' head. He could be going for the cYnabreaker!

Phantom: God I hate the name of that move! Sounds like a damn piece of gum!

Phoenix: cYnical is up...and Morpheus shoves him off! Cynical turns around and tries an elbow strike. Morpheus ducks...and plants cYnical with a Half Nelson Suplex! Cynical was folded up like an accordion by that maneuver as Morpheus is still down on the ground, breathing heavily after the damage he has suffered recently.

Phantom: This is where you see who has what it takes to be the champ. After starting out strong, Morpheus was losing momentum against cYnical. But he was able to dig real deep and was finally able to regain the momentum against cYnical.

Phoenix: Morpheus sees cYnical getting up. He is measuring him up. Cynical stands up and turns around...and Morpheus decapitates him with a lariat! Cover by the champ! One...Two...Kickout at two!

Phantom: cYnical showing why he is one of the most decorated men in LPW and most respected! Well...as respected as you are going to get for being a wizard.

Phoenix: Morpheus picks cYnical up and starts hits him with clubbing forearms to the back of the neck. He Irish whips him to the ropes. He picks cYnical up. It looks as if he is going for the Shock and Awe! Cynical escapes and tries to roll Morpheus up in a sunset flip!

Phantom: If Morpheus had hit that Alabama Slam, that might have ended the match! Morpheus is now fighting off cYnical's attempt at rolling him up.

Phoenix: Morpheus grabs cYnical and lifts him up on his feet with both arms! What strength! Morpheus looks to be going for the Overhead Choke suplex...cYnical with a kick to the gut, breaking Morpheus' grip! Cynical runs to the ropes and quickly nails Morpheus with a running single leg dropkick! Morpheus is down! And cYnical is going to the top rope!

Phantom: cYnical is getting up those ropes slowly from all the shots to the head and neck area. He is clearly dazed. And if cYn is going for the cYnitrical Force, this could be the ending of the match. For Morpheus or for cYnical if he misses.

Phoenix: cYnical is finally up top, but Morpheus trips him up, crotching him on the turnbuckle. Morpheus is climbing on the second rope, lifting cYnical up for a possible top rope variation of The Sacrifice! If he hits this sitout Crucifix Bomb, cYn could be done!

Morpheus tries to pick up cYnical but struggles, his back still giving him trouble from cYn's focusing on it. He powers through and lifts cYnical up, preparing to drop him with The Sacrifice, but cYnical counters Morpheus with a quick Hurricanrana at the last second. Morpheus gets up quickly and charges toward cYnical, who meets him with a running kick to the gut. He then punts the hunched over Morpheus in the face, causing him to pop up. Cynical than dropkicks Morpheus in the knees, causing him to go down on one knee. Cynical than runs toward Morpheus and nails him with the Shining Yakuza kick.

Phoenix: Brutal Shining Yakuza kick by cYnical on Morpheus! Cynical goes for the cover! One...Two...Morpheus kicks out! Cynical thought he had him!

Phantom: These two are just throwing haymakers like the boxers of old! This, LPW fans, is what some of the greats from before used to do night in and night out! While cYnical was on the inferior brand when he started, he represents those that fought under the Old PWA banner well! Same as Morpheus!

Phoenix: cYnical picks up Morpheus and drags him into the corner. He starts to really hammer Morpheus with a barrage of elbow strikes to the face! He walks to the middle of the ring, holding up his elbow! Cynical charges at Morpheus...and Morpheus moves, causing cYnical to crash into the corner! And Morpheus knocks cYnical loopy with a spinning back elbow to the head!

Phantom: Very Muay Thai based move right there, which causes extreme damage from the hard bone in the elbow. I am still surprised how cYnical is still in this! I am not doubting the man's talent or conviction. But he has been through that grueling Battle Royale and has been just knocked silly by Morpheus in this match! How is he surviving this?

Phoenix: He is one of the greats in this promotion, Phantom! He has that iron will that can't be taught!

Phantom: Which explains why your career ended so soon and you have been the LPW equivalent of Matt Striker for all these years!

Phoenix: Back to the action, as Morpheus grabs cYnical and starts to hit him with elbow strikes. Cynical fights back with elbow strikes of his own. Both men trading elbow strikes! Cynical reclaims the advantage! He goes for a Yakuza kick...Morpheus dodges! And he hits him with the R.E.M, that devastating Spike DDT! Morpheus goes for the cover! One...Two...Th...Kickout by cYnical! Morpheus almost had him!

Phantom: That was a very close call! Cynical appears to be still be in this, but I wonder if that kickout was his last hurrah?

Phoenix: cYnical is slowly getting up and Morpheus is stalking him! What is the champion going to do? Cynical is up...and Morpheus is trying to hook in the Deep Sleep! He is trying to hook in the dreaded Cobra Clutch! Cynical is trying to fight out of it!

Phantom: Some of the greats in our profession have used that as there finisher. If Morpheus can get this move to the mat and lock in the body scissors, cYnical will have no choice but to give up! Or pass out!

Morpheus continues to attempt to fully apply the Deep Sleep, but cYnical keeps struggling to get free. Morpheus finally spins cYnical around and attempts a short arm clothesline, but cYnical dodges. Morpheus turns around and gets kicked in the gut by a spin kick. Cynical grabs Morpheus and plants him with the cYnabreaker, than transitions into the Maniac Depression in the middle of the ring. Morpheus yells in pain as cYnical wrenches in his Dragon Sleeper/Rings of Saturn combination.

Phoenix: cYnical escaped the Deep Sleep! And after a quick cYnabreaker, he has locked on the dreaded Maniac Depression!

Phantom: I have never seen those two moves combined like that by cYnical. That was a very nice sequence and he has Morpheus stranded in the middle of the ring! But the champ is starting to slowly uses his weight advantage to drag himself to the ropes for the break!

Phoenix: He keeps getting closer, cYnical wrenching the hold further! He wants to end this match and claim his unprecedented third reign as LPW World Heavyweight Champion!

Phantom: But Morpheus is still the relatively fresher man! And I don't think Morpheus returned and reached these heights just to lose to this Wizard!

Phoenix: Morpheus is finally reaches the ropes and the ref is calling for cYnical to break the hold. But cYn won't unlock it! The ref counts to four before he finally lets go!

Phantom: He was using the five second break count to its advantage, causing extra damage to his opponent.

Phoenix: cYnical picks Morpheus up and Irish whips him to the ropes. Morpheus attempts a clothesline, but cYnical dodges! And he hits him with a lariat/STO Backbreaker combo, another impact move on the back of Morpheus!

Phantom: cYnical used the momentum of the lariat to really spike Morpheus' back on his knee!

Phoenix: cYnical goes for the cover! One...Two...Kickout at two by the Champion! Cyn looks stunned that he didn't have him! He gets up and is calling for the end of this match! He is signaling for the Negative Outlook!

Phantom: If he hits this it could be a very short title reign for Morpheus!

Cynical lifts Morpheus up for the Negative Outlook, but Morpheus wiggles free. Cynical turns around and tries to hit a Yakuza kick,but Morpheus catches the leg and plants cYnical with The Nightmare! Morpheus covers cYnical slower than he normally would when executing the maneuver.

Phoenix: Morpheus with the Nightmare! Cover by Morpheus! One...Two...Th...Kickout again by cYnical!

Phantom: There is no way he could have kicked out of that! No way, Phoenix!

Phoenix: Morpheus looks frustrated! He lifts cYnical up and puts him into a fireman's carry! This could be The Dream Vortex! He spins cYnical...who counters it into a Tornado DDT! How did he do that?

Phantom: I am still stuck on how he kicked out of The Nightmare!

Phoenix: And cYnical is going up top! He is going for the cYntrifical Force! Cyn is up! He flies!

Phantom: Morpheus is moving out of the way!

Phoenix: cYnical lands on his feet! He didn't do the full rotation and landed on his feet! Good presence of mind! He charges toward Morpheus and goes for an elbow strike...Morpheus dodges! Morpheus picks cYnical up quickly...THE DREAM VORTEX! He brutally planted cYnical with the Dream Vortex! Morpheus slowly turns cYnical's body around! Cover! One...Two...Three! This war is over! Morpheus retains the championship!

Phoenix: cYnical showed why he is one of the greats in this sport, but Morpheus showed the mettle that is necessary to be World Champion with his victory tonight!

Phantom: The road will not be any easier for Morpheus, as I have a feeling that cYnical may want a rematch in the future, and after tonight, who could blame him? He also has to look forward to the determined challenger at the PPV, Seth Omega, who was awarded a title shot by popular vote. Omega is a rugged competitor and will want to clear away any doubts or taunts from a certain GM that likes sending people to the military that he deserves to be the contender to Morpheus title, But now with Omega needing to pass the “Trails of Scorpio” It very well looks like Seth will be earning that shot. Also we know know the top eight superstars of not just Insnaity but LPW as a whole as Drew Michaels, cYnical, Andy Savana, Mass Chaos, Steve Storme, Styxx, Ash Strife and Big B. Brown have all advanced to round three with Drew Michaels with unexpected help from SoL before quitting moves straight to round four and here are the brackets!
